For a manager results are everything, i liked what Rodgers said after the game about our supporters watching this all over the World, he knows exactly what it means and the joy it brings when we beat the uglies.

He did well. Dropping deep second half killed me, but I think he seen in preseason that Scales defends the box really well. Ange did it once at Ibrox too n I could barely watch but it worked.

We don't play that way and it's usually nail biting when we're on the back foot. I think he seen what we had on the pitch and it's a bold move to try that at Ibrox, so fair play.

I got a confidence boost before the game when the Huns were blaring the "Allez" song n Rodgers sat smiling soaking it up. He's still a pain in the hole and an * of a man but he's now our * again so let's go. International break could suit us perfectly.

Chuffed for him...He put a lot of credit in the bank today with the fans and against all the odds as well.

To think that we did that with that team what can he achieve within the next 3 years here if he is building a unit.

I think the Celtic family all got back on board today with each other.

Fantastic Result for him personally because i dare to think what we would be like if we lost today.

League is of the upmost importance ofc but i would like us to look half decent in Europe and survive through Xmas.

Treble is gone.....but the good thing about all that is that next year he will focus even more on the Treble.

The reassuring thing for me was that he acknowledged that the team has a long way to go before the team is where he wants them to be.

Hopefully we can kick on from here.

This time i believe him when he says he'll be here for 3 seasons, he's gonna build something.

Interesting that we were still inverting the FB's sometimes in build up. I saw Johnston doing it too sometimes, which suggests it's not just Taylor wandering out of position. I wonder if it was tactical from BR. At any rate, CM wasn't as crowded out as he has been at times of late and had a little more space and time to build our play.

He had a great line in his press conference in Friday about wanting to win and knowing how to do it and it showed up true today, even in his interview before the game he seemed very confident.

I think the plan is to stay here for 2 full seasons. Similar to players who usually leave before their contracts expire, he'll probably go back down south. But I hope that he does leave a multiple silverware pieces heavier, for his own, and our sake.

Also I noticed he had cal dropping deep to collect the ball of the Cbs and starting moves from there like brown used to do as opposed to receiving the ball in midfield with his back facing thier the opposition goal.

Really excited to see what Brendan can achieve over the next few years i think were in the best place we have been in years with a manager commiting his future long term (ahem I know, I know) but I do think he genuinely wants to build something and will see out a minimum 3 years.

I hope by next summers window we can get away from this scattergun approach to transfers and stockpiling players stunting youth development, Brendans track record of showing faith in young players and bringing them on is there for all to see so I'm hoping to see a few come through and instead of signing £2/£3m projects the projects will be promoted from within.

Adding to that a couple of genuine 1st team proven quality players every season to improve the team or replace a player leaving.

The international break now feels like it's the perfect time for him. Two weeks with these players, and the new ones can settle in

Who all wanted him punted again? Were there no * saying they'd stop watching Celtic if Rodgers was still here after today?

A shame there was no fans there but hopefully next home game will be a far less toxic atmosphere and the players can see if they weren’t already aware just how massive that result was today for the fans.

Never doubted him at all, but today feels like a huge corner turned. Earned every penny of his wage to go to ibrox without a single fan in the crowd and win with a hugely depleted squad.

Second half hitting it long constantly was killing me but I understand the backline we had and the momentum of the game.

First half I thought we played some really nice stuff to be honest and are probably just a midfielder and winger away from being really dangerous. Still looking for some of those patterns to emerge in an attacking sense but we controlled the game really well first half and worked the space in the middle of the pitch nicely.

Ultimately though today, with the squad we have, was all about rhe result and he managed that, so I can't criticise him. Hoping this is the start of it now - certainly feels that way.

First half they didn't press McGregor at all. The biggest difference between the first and second half was they started marking him.

Rarely seen an opposing team give up the midfield like that. It was extraordinary.
