    Absolutely * disgusting transfer window.

If you told me 3 months ago that this would be our squad going in to our guaranteed Champions League group stage I’d have pished myself laughing.

They sure know how to stunt the momentum of our club, sucking the enthusiasm out of the supporters in the process.

It happens too regularly to be a coincidence.

Disappointing if we don't upgrade at LB, Taylor has struggled big time so far. That is the one glaring issue for me, although something could still happen there.

Pretty happy with the rest of the squad, while not being delighted as such. Biggest thing we need to worry about is settling in to Rodgers' style as it's been slow progress so far.

A result and performance on Sunday will help with that, and will bolster confidence big time.

He should have seen this coming. Sleekit Pete did this to him last time

"I'm not so sure, I don't think there will be many more coming in."

Sounds very likely that's our business done for the window, unless something comes up very last minute for a LB.

    Awful transfer window, indefensible.

Yet I've seen a good few on Twitter saying it's been a good transfer window because we've "signed 9 players"... yet maybe 1 or 2 of them are in starting eleven position.... but neither are in any way an improvement on what we had last year.

Anyone claiming this isn't a really bad transfer window is delusional or clueless.

    Same.

I was excited when Brendan was back on board and the word on the street was he was promised a budget to sign players to "take us to the next level" in his eyes.

But they way it's going, this window will be less exciting than Ange's first one!

Bernado has pace and power? Seems BR hasn't been given the one thing he wanted.

What a let down by our club again. Board will spend the rest of the deadline watching the limited edition kit pre orders while drinking champagne.

8 or 9 players giving us depth. Sorted the CBs out. Finally got depth (once no * injured)

Possibly replace jota? Only time will tell.

Got a new talented midfielder who will most likely be starting 11 over turnbul.

    Yang looks qaulity.

It's really not that bad. I'm feeling very positive tbh.

I actually feel sorry for BR. It's like they're setting him up to fail.

Something's not right in my opinion.

I don't know how it all ties together but I feel there's some internal fighting between Rodgers and the board.

This will be officially announced by Celtic later to appease the complaints at a awful transfer window. Guaranteed.

    We don’t need depth, mate.

We need our starting 11 that didn’t win a game in the CL last year to be massively improved upon.

Instead we’ve lost our best player, who was our main creative outlet, one half of our centre back partnership that didn’t lose a league game together, and an experienced composed midfielder in Mooy.

Half of our starting 11 can’t play the way the new manager wants them to.

    It’s a * shambles.

Yes and if results don't go in our favour everyone turns on BR. Win/win for our board.

LB was a known area we needed improvement, never happened.

Brendan said he wanted a midfielder signing with strength, never happened. (Likely no fault of Brendan's though)

Yang does indeed look a decent prospect on limited sample size, but a Jota replacement, not even close - good few years at least if he reaches that level. Will be sold by the time he's close, but that's our club's model.

    Goalkeeper was needed, never happened.

Did we do enough to maintain our level? Arguably, yes.

A good transfer window that helps make any sort of progress in Europe? Irrefutably not.

Yeah there's a lot ok with that but i still feel BR was promised better. We really need to get behind him.

    Correct.

If Rodgers fails it’ll be his fault.

If he walks away due to lack of backing, it’ll be his fault, as that’ll be the second time and his name will be mud amongst the support.

They’ve done him dirty yet again.

Beitar Jerusalem have signed Celtic midfielder Ismaila Soro on a two-year deal, with an option for a further year.

We really need a non Asian striker, a proper centre forward.

In January we could be missing 4-6 players due to the Asian cup.

A lot of our eggs are in one basket. We need proper cover through the middle and a unit in the midfield.

How many pint sized wingers do we actually need? We are well covered for the wings.

Starting over Turnbull shouldn't be a measurement of quality for someone in our midfield.
