Nah, they'll be looking for a fee that's likely out of our price range.. they paid £25m we're not going to get him for peanuts..

I think we’ll end up being the only interested club and get him, without an obligation, but we’ll likely struggle next Summer to come to an arrangement to sign him permanently.

But there’s so few clubs interested for some reason, and Newcastle and Sociedad are both moving or have focused on other targets.

Then they don't get to offload him from their books. If someone wanted to pay a lot of money for him, it would have happened. Not Newcastle, not Aston Villa, not Real Sociedad, nobody came.

If we get him it will be a loan only.. let's see what happens.. but he would need to take a massive drop in wages too..

For me, the question of money is secondary. The only question I'm worried about is that of his injury status. If the issues he's had with his pelvis have resolved, then we should waste no time.

Aye well, the asking price will probably be too much for us so any pernament deal would probably be unlikely..

So, they'd rather let him go on a free than sell under the asking price, once the loan ends?

He's got 3 years left on his deal, Arsenal can pretty much do as they please at the moment with him..

The sun and a few bookies have us favourites to sign him. Wonder if he’s the left back (would be a loan if true) or if it’s someone else we’re targeting for lb

would be great to see him back in the hoops. adds so much quality and drive on that left side. Greg Taylor can't be faulted for his effort but he is a million miles from KT in every department.

some signing if we pull it off, even on loan.

Can't believe one of our most talented players is being treated like some sort of reject by Arsenal. Hope to * he comes home

Loan deal incoming I think. Think it’s pretty clear now he won’t be leaving Arsenal for a transfer fee, and I can’t imagine they will want to keep him as he is miles out the picture now.

Which makes me wonder if he's still the same player post-operation. I was under the impression that the problem was that Arteta plays inverted FB's and perhaps KT isn't quite good enough for the absolute elite (which Arsenal are among); but the KT I remember would walk into any EPL team outwith the top 4 or 5. Why is no one interested?

Newcastle real socidead and villa were all interested. Could have easily been they contacted his agent and KT himself wasn’t interested in going there. Could’ve wanted to either stay at arsenal if he’s playing or come back here to play. Was deffo interest from other clubs

I find it hard to believe he would turn down any of those moves. 3 big clubs in good leagues.

Aye, I imagine they've got other targets signed/in their sights.

Either way, it works for us.

    I'd take a 50% Tierney. He's a class above.

Tierney is a very down to earth lad despite how some fans may argue that since he moved on from us to go to arsenal. Apparently he’s home sick and this is his boyhood club. We dont know for sure the reasons but I wouldn’t doubt him wanting to come back here or wanting to try play for arsenal rather than move again and try settle somewhere else again

Newcastle have just signed a left back, Villa have Digne and Moreno.

Sociedad are the only unknown, but would someone who gets homesick in London really go to Spain?
