I have spoke to Celtic fans who don't think it was a pen. Just cos someone is looking for a pen doesn't mean it isn't if they get kicked. He clearly got kicked.

I'm sick of these cheating *, we're too eager to be seen as above it all or not look like sore losers, it should always be called out especially when we're winning because then it doesn't look like sour grapes.
Any perceived slight against the huns who get every advantage going, and the crayons come out and it's statement time and they stoke up the hoardes and there's refs getting blacklisted from their games and fearing for them and their families' safety.
Obviously we're not roasters so I'm not suggesting anything like that approach, but even Brendan or Cal to highlight the challenge that led to a numerical disadvantage which they then scored from, say you'd like to see it again or something diplomatic, reference that and the goal and the pen, something at least to call attention to it.

It's so depressing to see this thread come up every season and know that it's going to be 100 pages long, full of actual complaints, and * all will be done about any of it... :31:

Not normally one to blame on refs but still dunno how thar wasn't a pen.

Even the commentators then being so brazen about how it wasn't one, its clear as day:giggle1:. Also again not usually my style but couldn't help but notice McInness and Muir laughing and joking away like best pals in the centre circle at full time.

    Horrid showing.

Do you think we could merge this with the Honest Mistakes 2016/17 onwards thread? It's good to have kind of record of these scandalous decisions going back years.

He was pathetic on co commentary yesterday..

Brushed everything off instinctively. Did so with that challenge until he seen the replay was bad. Then gave a wee sigh and said that..

Can't help but feel like he'd have went in on it more if it wasn't us playing..

Shouldn’t the line have been in line with the Killie players head or shoulder? You can score with them body parts and they looked further forward than the rest of his body.

Penalty was one we would never get unless a couple up, but Rangers would, but we hardly shout for it and they would stop the game and surround the ref.

That Roger Hannah explanation for the Taylor elbow..

Said maybe var's thinking is that because Taylor's small that it wasn't meant to be a deliberate swing to the face :56:

Does he think Armstrong is 6 foot or something. Lol..

Farcical decision and everyone knows it..

To no give red, then for Taylor to have to go off and them exploit that side. Joke..

Don Robertson should be struck off as a referee/ VAR official...the guy is a corrupt *. Those 2 incidents are as clear as can be yet he said * all.

Remember last year he blew for a livi equaliser last minute against them. No one could see any foul..

Few weeks later County at the huns, nil nil and Sands rugby tackles the guy to the floor. Last man, easy red...shrugs his shoulders and plays on..

This is a guy who's let countless dangerous tackles go on our players. Turnbull at Tannadice when he came on. Bowman knee high on Tierney. Porteous on McGregor at Easter Road. All of them knee high or big gashes and horror tackles. There's more as well..

He's a disgrace and I'm glad Guidi went in on him and Muir. All I've seen is excuses and back slaps before that. Fair play to fat * Barry as well..

It's that obvious I don't understand why Celtic don't go after him...the Huns aren't shy at making their voice heard when it comes to refs.

    That ref yesterday man..

He didn't cheat or do us out of anything bad....but * me, he was out of his depth..

Getting in the way all the time
Couldn't spot simple decisions like who's throw it was
Player goes down, he doesn't blow his whistle, stops play and runs over to the player and then gives a freekick for them :giggle1:
They had a blatant foul and he played advantage as May was in behind but he was offside, so instead of correctly giving them the freekick as there was no advantage, he gave us the freekick for offside :56:

    Just terrible, terrible officiating..

He looked stupid as *, every goal kick he stood right on the half way line at the very edge of a pitch, stood out as I don't think i've ever seen a ref doing that before. Positioning was mental the whole game, seemed to constantly be facing away from the play, let almost all the freekicks be took without watching them, was always talking to guys as well.

Surprised he never missed anything or made any blunders. Actually done a decent job I thought for a change.

Only thing would be the timewasting from their keeper, he should have booked him early in the first half. Let him take about 30 seconds every goal kick and about 20 seconds every time he picked up or caught a ball even right till the end.

Regarding timewasting, a good ref will give an early warning in an effort to nip it in the bud, but in our games they say nothing and let the opposition get away with it.

It was clear as day their GK was at it right from the off.
