Thats what i dont understand...why would any agreement like this take 4 years to conclude? Just doesnt make sense.

We have done a deal with barca that involves a structure whereby barca cn buy the player back. They have agreed to this and said if we fancy any other players they would be willing to look at a similar structure....the player being willing. not sure why this wouldn't be taken for granted anyway!

 

don't think the deal has taken 4 years to set-up. over the last four years ago we have tried to sign saviola and quaresma, we have now signed crossas and hope to possibly buy more players using the same structure ot transfer.

yeah i think its probably more like other players we have asked about have maybe not wanted to come here . I hope we make max use of it and i hope we manage to get a few more gems

in fairness the celtic shirts were in the nike section of the club shop along with man utd, brazil etc when i was there

It was not the Crosas deal that took four years it was the agreement we have in place to take there young and fringe players and be given first option on them subject to them wanting to come here of course, and that has come from Peter Lawell and if anyone knows then it will be him.

 

Whoever said anyone could have had Queresma or Saviola you dont understand. It was stated that we previously had similar bids to the Crosas deal accepted for these to players, unfortunatly neither decided to join. Imagine we had Queresma and Saviola!!!!!!!

id say we will maybe not till january though, and prob not the players mentioned. but the amount of young barca players that must have some very good qualities, and have no real chance of breakin into the first squad never mind the first team. surely some would jump at the chance to look even better playin against the inverness an falkirks of this world not to mention at least 6 champs league games. theres a good few S.A's with barca so maybe there the ones we should offer sweeties to.
