Polish Fans

Just wondering, after 2 months of having Zuraw and Boruc at Celtic, where the Polish fans' loyaly stands in general.

 

... erm ... kinda silly poll Jarad ... my loyalty is and will always be in :
*, Polish NT, Celtic Glasgow, my Wife ( not neccesarily in that order * )

 

There's no option for me cos I always liked Celtic but was not a true fan. 2 transfers certainly had influence on my attitude to Celtic (my membership on talkceltic strenghtens my love for the club too).

Yeah, I have to admit that I'm a true fan since arrival of Polish Bhoys, but I've been fascinated by Celtic for years and knew a lot about its history and team long before they joined.

MY OPTION: 2 transfers considerably influenced my attitude towards Celtic, but I always liked Celtic

 

Yup, just for poles. Kowal, I tried my best thinking up different options but that one just never crossed my mind.

Im not a fan of Celtic and never have been (but I really don't like huns ). I do not support any team. I'm a just fan of football and I visit many soccer boards of the clubs that I like. I was surprised seeing such a lot of my homies here. I think that 50% of them are here becouse of our polish players only (I'm not saying that it's bad, some of them may become real fans of Celtic). Althought there are many supporters of Celtic in Poland, at least in my city. It's not so hard to see white-green stripes in the streets. Probably even more after the latest 'polish' transfers.

So i haven't chosen any of the options below. I like Celtic, that's all.

P.S. When I was young the first thing that got me interested in Celtic was their kit. I don't know why, but it looks awesome My favourite kit in the world, I think...

P.P.S. My situation is alil bit similiar to kowal's.

Lennons_Ghirl, this was supposed to be for Polish fans only (for the poll, anyone can post. That's why I made it public, I knew someone would do that. At least the poll is getting use though

 

Lol, I had Celtic pyjamas when I was 10, my mum bought me it, but unfortunately she got rid of it when I grew up a bit without my permission , so I don't have my retro-pyjamas

Now I'm Celtic fan though and always will be

P.S. the second option is the closest to my situation so I'm choosing it.

That´s a shame to answer at this pol, * I thought you kids are realy nice and want to talk about football and maybe some stupid things called life...........ffffffffffffssssssss and than this pole ...........I didn´t vote cause it gives a * to what I feel. Oi I didn't mean any insult, it was sort of the opposite. I figured the vast majority of you came just because of those two, but some were becoming actual Celtic fans since your're staying. If not, don't worry about it. I'm not a fan of Barcelona just because Larsson plays there, or Arsenal because of Bergkamp. Didn't mean any offence

 

Mate, I tell you one more else I love to c our 2 Bhoys at Glasgow Celtic and hope the both, with Celtic, will get legends - enough said!!!

 

Hmmm... I think I never was a TRUE fan of any FC, but...
My hometown FC play * in minor Polish league, which would be similiar to English Conference, I suppose, so I could support a bunch of children outside my window as well . I was not interested in any other PolishPL team either, but I always supported our NT. Polish NT could play * some 10years ago, but I always had my fingers crossed, so I am a TRUE fan of Polish NT only.
Anyway, I felt in love to Barcelona because of Ronald Koeman and Marc Overmars and to ManU because of Peter Schmeichel and Ryan Gigs. But still - I'm not a TRUE fan. Yes, I always have my fingers crossed, when I'm watching CL on TV, but I'm not interested enough to check position or latest results of Barca/ManU in La Liga/Premiership.
Some could say that makes me a fan of players, not teams, but I'm still a fan of Barca even without Koeman and Overmars
On the other hand, as I said, I am not interested in PPL and I never was a fan of Boruc or Żurawski as long as they played in PPL.
So? If not a club (my favourites were Barca and ManU) and not Boruc or Żurawski then why am I here? Hmmm... I suppose it's a combination of both. Like with 2 ingredients glue. 1st ingredient is my 'Polish player in famous foreign club'-syndrom and 2nd ingredient is my sympathy to Celtic (as a symbol of Scottish fight for freedom) and antipathy to Rangers (as a symbol of English invader).
Now I watch each Celtic game I can, league table, fixtures, I'm a member of TC. Even if that doesn't make me a TRUE fan, I can still say that I was never so devoted to any other FC.
If You ask me, what will happen, when Polish players will finally leave Celtic - when one of those ingredients will be taken out, I answer - I really don't know. Maybe the other one will be strong enough then - I really don't know. I hope that doesn't make me a 2nd class member, but I think that straight questions deserve honest answers.

 

No that doesn't make you a second class member, this poll was just out of curiosity. You follow your football teams the same way I follow my ice hockey teams in a way.

 

I'd take 2 option but there's one thing you should remember. If Boruc and/or Żuraw leave Celtic, will I be able to watch Celtic games? Only if they will play well in Europe.
Henrik Larsson is one of best players in the world, and I had finger crossed for Celtic when they played against Barca in CL and in UEFA cup. And then I found that you have other great players as well.
And it will be always a difference between me and most of you, cause I will never see Celtic match live.
