Mate we literally drew against midgyland then got beat against them then got beat against hearts in anges first 3 games. This isnt computer game lol. Yeah we had a winning team but as per the nature of the beast of football, players have left and more might still. Brendan needs time simple as that. Get the pitch forks away and give him the same time you gave ange

Good points - Nawrocki, Kyogo, O'Reilly and the subs when they came on. Game changed when Hatate came on for Turnbull and Holm and Yang look good prospects. Bad points - Taylor had an absolute shocker and needs replaced now, Abada flatters to deceive and we looked so shaky at the back dealing with high balls which the huns will utilise. Three points is three points but, by *, we need to step it up a gear.

It was the game I expected, tough, scrappy, not easy. With the win we all wanted.

Some players impressed. Rocky, Hart, Hatate, Holm, Yang, Welsh.

Some uncharacteristically didn't and Some just aren't good enough.

Hopefully CCV and Reo are fine.

A tough one out the way and 3pts. Decent.

3 points was all that mattered so job done and 3 goals. That said, that was far from comfortable. I was a massive fan of Taylor last season, but with the tweak to the role he’s playing, he looks extremely limited and reluctantly think we need better. Good signs with Holm and Yang, but I think 3 quality bodies in the door will make a massive difference. Here’s hoping

Ange didn't have a treble winning squad his first 3 games, did he? He had a squad wide rebuild to do. We also felt we could see what Ange was trying to implement and the positives it would bring. What are we seeing here? Slower football? A team who was used to playing out from the back through pressure just hoof it? You've gave a massive false equivalency.

Welsh should be fine for 4th choice, otherwise we need to start doing some serious upgrading.

Need a gk, lb, cm and lw in fast.. holm looks an absolute player. If we could get a few quid from a championship club I'd have Turnbull gone.. yang/ nawrocki look decent additions too.

Rodgers has lost Jota, Starfelt and Mooy from said squad, and its also clear Hart and Taylor wont cut it in this system, thats 5 players.

Ange still lost his first 3 away games, and was a jota goal away from dropping points in his 4th. We then dropped points to St Mirren away and were a Ralston header away from dropping points against County.

If you're only seeing negatives with what Rodgers is trying to implement, then you're being obtuse

Ange's first 3 games are irrelevant to this argument. The context and situations are totally different. We were promised we'd be building upon what we had, there was meant to be aims to improve in Europe. We aren't seeing any evidence of that at all. Rather than just say he needs time. Actually tell us what you've seen. Do you know what he's trying to implement?

Add to that - Hart coming off his line and claiming things. You can tell Rodgers has already told him to sort it out after Ross County.

Absolutely massive three points, even this early in the season. Nawrocki looks a top find and Holm and Yang definitely look like they can chip in and add something this season. O’Riley had his best game in a long time. Abada with another goal that just sums up his ability to be in the right place at the right time, and Kyogo showing his lethal touch yet again. Hatate had been our best player second half and we need him fit and firing. I think Welsh stood up tall second half as well. That’s the positives for me.

The negative side of it is nothing we don’t already know. Taylor is simply not good enough to play this system. Today he was abysmal. Hart’s distribution when going long was terrible. Couple of times I felt he could have caught it as well instead of punching but I don’t have a big issue with that. These two positions we simply need to improve on. There’s a couple of others areas as well I feel we are short, but these two are crucial.
