Battled through that one, losing CCV and then Hatate wasn't ideal..

    Taylor had a shocker..

Good three points but not an easy game.

Holm and Yang look the part.

Taylor was an absolute disaster zone. He looked like a wee boy who'd won a competition to play for Celtic.

LB now has to be an absolute priority position to fill, along with more physicality in the mid.

Showed some good play at a notoriously difficult venue, but alot to be cautious about imo.

Either way, 3 points done. Onto the next.

Was scrappy at times but ultimately a good win. We could have made it 3-1 much earlier in second half. Fair play to the Sheep a glorious failure for them today.

Defo a bit more shaky and on the showing today I wouldn't be fully confident going to the * pit like before , but we are weaker and at times seem unsure wot we are trying to do .

But like others say probably one of our tougher away games so a brilliant 3 points.

Always a tough place to go but 3 points is good but man alive that performance was awful.

Since Rodger's first stint, I've been very unhappy with the defence, we get sliced open easily as we attack. CL is going to be scary.

Anyhoo, a massive pile of * but 3 points is 3 points and we're 3 points ahead of blue tarts so good stuff.

Now to have a quick look at Ange's Spurs and see if they get sliced open

Ended up a superb result, up against a good side. Long way to go with the new system and hopefully a few quality players still to come in, but just glad to get the result when we're still not fully in our stride.

Reckon big Barry Robson will skelp the huns at least once this season.

Still nowhere near where we want to be but a good win in the end..

The subs all came on and made an impact..

    Welsh
    Holm
    Yang

    Particularly..

Let's get some quality in the door now..

Not a pretty win but will take that. Early stages of the season and showing we can battle for a win.

Thought Nawrocki was very good, Welsh did well when he came on, and O Riley was alright at times. See Joe getting a bit of stick but thought he was OK for the most part to be honest. Was left dealing with a lot as we let them close to the box too easily too often and think he dealt with most well enough.

I like Taylor but that was one of his worst in a Celtic shirt in my opinion.

    Holm looks good.

Hoping the injuries aren't serious but CCV seemed to be limping when he walked to the bench.

A lot to work on but early days for the season. Don't want us going out and buying * but hoping there's work going on behind the scenes and signings aren't far away.

We look as though it is still early pre season, bit of a disjointed mess.

    Key positions needing upgraded.

Wins a win and that is what matters but we should be so much better.

Excellent result but we have so much work to do it's scary. Like the look of Yang, and apart from a terrible mistake at their goal, Nawrocki looked class.

Good hard fought game. Nothing we didn't already know.

CCV and Hatate hopefully just precaution. O'Riley good, Kyogo is Kyogo. Yang won't be long before he forces his way into the first 11.

    Enjoyed that.

    Sign some * now Celtic.

We can't be changing whole teams and style of play every couple of years that's not good for stability and momentum hope that's not on the cards, because this * will be off in max 2 years and then what ? got to change every * thing again for new coach ?

MOTM to Nawrocki, absolute rock at the back and comfortable on the ball. Hatate upped our tempo and we looked far more dangerous, Holm kept that up when he came on.

That should of fully confirmed to Rodgers that we 100% still need to strengthen, keeper and left back are priority. Then LW and possibly another CB.

Much better 2nd half ..big Welsh was excellent and Ralston was much better... definitely need players in asap tho especially a left back and a winger. Reo hopefully isn't too bad bcoz you can see his levels are miles in front of Turnbull.

We're ticking along nicely and building what Rodgers wants. There's still a pass here and there too many for my liking but overall you can't not be happy with the results. We're only getting better too, only heading in one direction.

O'riley was excellent today I felt.
Yang and Holm both look like they're gonna fit in and have something to offer.

Nervy at times but game won and done.

Some sloppiness in our play that I'm putting down to just getting into the change of system. Hart did well other than not coming out for the first ball that led to their goal, but that was an odd mistake by CCV so not full fault, did well coming for crosses at corners.

Concerns around the injuries in the team just now, we haven't been too bad on them the last couple seasons, hopefully it's a blip and not a thing to come.

Good signs in Holm and Yang, Welsh did well coming in at half time, Rocky looking good, Turnbull not his best game, we improved when Hatate came on, should have scored more from the opportunities we created, were struggling in the wide areas of defense with most attached coming out from there but that was the main avenue in last season too due to the system.

Finished the game strong and composed though, if we can get those couple more additions we will be looking good.
