Relieved to get out of there with 3 points. Sheep were a handful for most of the game, against a makeshift defence.

When it's all said and done, that is the biggest win we have had at Pittodrie in nearly 4 years - on the scoreboard at least, which is the bottomline. But credit where credit is due, we've been in a real test here. Relieved to take the 3 points and keep the winning start rolling on.

Might not have been the most pleasing to follow but considering Aberdeen have made Pittodrie into something of a fortress in recent times (just the second loss they've had here this year, after St M at the start of Feb and have had wins over the likes of Hearts & Sevco in that time), this is not an easy away day at the best of times let alone so early in the season when we are still trtying to bed players in as well as those that are here adapting to the new manager's tactics etc.

The loss of Hatate & CCV though is a high price to pay, especially if they are not simply precautionary.

    Ma heart!

You can see we're getting there. Just need to tighten things up all over the park tbh.

Holm and Yang are going to be class for us.

    Oriley outstanding today.

Big Rock at the back too.

Subs really good, Holm very impressive, wee yang cameo.

    Cal and Taylor very poor.

Welsh came on and was brilliant. Tony excellent 2nd half.

A two goal margin win at Pittodrie. Unheard of.

Four years since we’ve managed that when we got a 4-0 in 2019. One goal margins and draws the rest of the time.

Our football compared to last year is so negative. Our first thought is to pass back and out second thought is to pass for a pass sake. Our build up is so slow and we play ourselves into trouble when the better pass is forwards and past the press.

Alright Nicholson, get out the cheque book and spend you *. Need some real quality added and quick!

Why? It's always an ugly win up there. These wins are the mark of champions

We've lost Jota, Hatate and CCV are injured and we're not going to play the same way. It still needs time. We'll have at least 3 coming in plus CCV and Hatate means he's missing 5 realistically.

BTW big Oriley looks like a young Guy Pearce.

We could have and should have had 6.

Defense a bit meh, pleased to so Joe booting it up when under pressure .

Aberdeen will beat the Huns up there for sure.

Some very worrying signs and some encouraging ones too. Got until 1st of September to get first team signings in. Some of the play in the 2nd half was shocking though. We could not keep the ball. Aberdeen were OK, but nothing more.

EDIT - I said Aberdeen were going to score 2nd half when Welsh came on, but fair play to him and the team.

A tough game at a tough away ground. Hopefully better performances to come despite being happy with the win.

They gave us a game but we still had far more chances to score than them. The one Kyogo put over the bar, the goal line block by Devlin, Maeda through on goal and at least one Abada could have slipped Kyogo in. We could have won by more despite not playing great.
