Pretty much agree with everyone here. The patently obvious weaknesses we have all been bleating about for years are still there for all to see. If we don't get 3-4 players in that are 1st team improvements, the CL in particular is going to be an absolute * show.

Anyone that thinks David Turnbull is an answer to our midfield.....

 

I actually think Hart's been much improved. Every cross he's came for and got something on it..

Still want one in mind..

O'Riley has taken up good positions and been very good defensively....just too careless in possession that half..

We badly need players in now to take us up a notch..

Every time we go forward we look like we’re gonna score. Movement in final 3rd has been superb

I think now we know just why Hatate should be playing and it's blatantly honest that we need a new LB. Maeda is fast but he's not a LW and, although Abada scored, he still should be doing much more. The huns will use the exact same tactics against us as Aberdeen are using - high balls and targeting our midget LB.

 

The Aberdeen goal is route 1. It came from the goalkick the linesman gave for a ball that wasn't out!

 

That abada goal should have taken about 5 seconds to check.

Nawrocki been good but it's been pretty frantic overall, still anyone's game. They're getting into dangerous areas very easily. Abada is frustrating. I'd bring on Yang at halftime and maybe Hatate. Middle looks quite disjointed.

 

Need Hatate for Turnbull badly, and a new left back. Hart has done well for crosses but a faster keeper gets to the ball before Duke at their goal. CCV to blame for that though.

 

Every team does. Domestically and in Europe. He is absolutely the weak link in the side.

 

Tough watch that, Aberdeen pressing well but we're not making it easy for ourselves. Far too many sloppy passes, no fluidity to our play, still look like we're nowhere near comfortable with how the manager wants us to play.

This will all come in time, but the * level passing has to be cut right out. Abada, Turnbull, Maeda, O'Riley all guilty of it. Taylor again looking like he's going back the way, even Cal has been rotten.

Interesting that both sides we've faced so far are pressing us high up and taking the game to us. Am actually taking the positive from that I.e. it helps us prepare better for the CL. But we still need a lot of work on the training pitch as we're well short of where we need to be.

Could have scored 3 or 4, could easily have conceded more than the 1 as well however. Some good, some bad in the first half. I just think we are seeing we need to bring a couple in. Hatate for Turnbull has to be happening at half time. Taylor has been awful, but we know already we need a left back, Hart’s distribution is baffling at times, but again, we know we need a keeper.

 

We tend to scud Hearts at Tynecastle a lot more. We rarely beat Aberdeen at Pittodrie by more than a goal.

 

He was * beyond * in the Bilbao game, I wouldn't hold your breath. I mean comically *

 

Need a lot of improvement to avoid a hiding.
