Give the woeful performances this season - ok only two games - we depserately need Maloney. He has come back, remorseful, and should be welcomed. We need ALL the help we can get! The football being played ay the moment is utterly shocking - no pace, no guile. With no more signings looking likely we have been sold another pack of nonsense by the board.

There's faith, and there's blind faith, and this board have some spin experts and masters of being "economical with the truth". Their failure to back the manager is disgraceful -it wouldn't suprise me to see GS leave at Xmas - even if we're still in the hunt for the title!

It's frightening that the board had no intention of spending money - the so called "champions league last 8" asperations was just a ploy to appease the fans. They thought that the exit of the Huns from the Champion's League would result in financial meltdown - the opposite in fact - something like £17m spent on players now. The lack of a left back and another striker will come back to haunt us I fear. It's not too late to open the tin!!!!!

Naka with Maloney sub. And Shaun_Is_Back, The formation looks okay, but switch Maloney and Naka for position. Shaun is a better winger, while Naka is a born AMC.

yeah i think hes gota wait for his chance like any other player has to . At the end of the day theres no denying hes a good player and yes he made a mistake and unlike a lot of players bit the bullet and admitted it so respect to him for that . I hope he does well same as i do with ANY other player we sign and i just hope people get of his back because he HAS shown his real ambition by coming back to THE best club in the world

If he can recapture the form he displayed in his double player of the year/young player of the year season then I like every other fan will be delighted.

However like every other player he'll have to work hard to get into the first team and i'm not expecting miracles from him, nor should anyone.

A lot of you know that im not a great lover of maloney and its nothing to do with the way he departed ,its football ,but to call the guy judas is a bit extreme ,i will give the guy a fair crack and i really hope im wrong about him .

Maloney is a celtic player now and i will cheer him on ,i would never lower myself to calling him judas ,pathetic.

I can't stand some people calling Shawn a Judas. Did he go and play for the Huns? NO. He went to the Premiership so he ain't a Judas. Anyway, give the guy half a chance and he will impress. From the looks of things at the minute, he's up front with Samaras as he was a sub. He's set one up and had a hand in the other. All he needs I a goal and I say that's a good performance.

He made a mistake & will be better than his first spell to make up for it. We need his creativity. Dunno who's position he will take tho....

Bit of humble pie for WOlfe Tone I say!! I Know for a fact he was one of Maloneys biggest critics the last couple of weeks :bbpd: :50:

Me? I'm feeling smug as * as I've repeatedly been saying Maloney would rip the SPL up and today is just a step closer to him doing that (again).

Aye, why choose one over the other when we can have both at the same time?
