    If these clubs are able to offer the ridiculous fees and wages that we are seeing. Where does it end. How many players will be able to turn down that kind of money. Premier league was bad enough but this seems a whole different level

    Hearing on Radio that the Saudis wanting to create a super league with the cream of Europe joining money no objective can see this happening. Hopefully we could benifit if there were to be euro Atlantic leagues off this gtfo of scottish league and playing these chronic teams week in week out

    The money we can get from SA compared to the TV money we get is massive by comparison to teams in the epl. If anything this levels the playing field slight in our favour. So maybe a mega rich Saudi league is good for us.

    Also anything that * up the epl makes me happy

    Guess the UEFA card will be..play in that, your country will be banned from European championships and World Cup qualification. But eff the EPL...kind of think this could work in our favour actually..need to get out of the 'play the same team 6 times a year SPFL'

    Always supported Saudi teams since a young boy. Used to get up in the morning to watch the Saudi cup with my mates round the barbie. It’s a league with big teams in it. I should never have to convince a player to play for Celtic Saudi….

    Just curious, I doubt those invested in teams outside of the league are that worried about the pennies but if the Saudi league were to take off and become this massive behemoth of a league that dwarfs all.

    How would that impact the clubs they own in Europe?

    Either way, would love for Saudi to be the cause of the long awaited and sorely overdue, bursting of the EPL bubble
