    The Champions League group stages are being drawn on the 28th August 2008.

    Are there any teams you want Celtic to avoid?
    Are there any teams you'd like Celtic to get or see at Celtic Park?
    How do you think Celtic will do this year?
    Group Stages? Uefa Cup fall out? Last 16? Beyond?
    Will we win an away match?

    I think I'd like to see Celtic have a pop at Real Madrid or possibly Juventus.
    I'd like to avoid Barcelona this year and I'm hoping that with a bit of luck, we can reach the last 8.
    The fans need to get behind the team more than ever this year at Celtic Park.
    Obviously it's difficult to tell until the draw is made but we do have a decent team but we're maybe just lacking a bit of cutting edge at the moment.

    its obvious to me that we should want barca in the group stages, so that we won't get them again in the last 16

    Shaktar
    Worst group that would be imo, no matter who we get i have a feeling this will be the year we win away from home, and how far we get just depends on the group.

    wouldn't mind getting dinamo kiev, they've got a good reputation in europe but i watched them aginst drogheda and they were very lucky not to get beat. out of the top seeded teams i'd love to get man united again. the last 2 games against them were fantastic and we were unlucky not to take 4 points off them

    I hope That we get one of the spanish big guns in the group stages so that we can't play them in the last 16 and this year we can hopefully progress to the last 8

    I was looking at the Pots last night and it was really interesting.We're in Pot 3 atm but we're half a co-efficient point from dropping into Pot 4.The teams in Pot 2 are really nothing to fear though.I'd fancy our chances against any of them apart from Bayern Munich and maybe Villareal.Some of the teams in Pot 4 are better than the ones in Pot 2.Theres some dangerous teams in Pot 4 e.g Fenerbahce,Olympiakos,Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kiev.

    We really need to get some co-efficient points though as we're a ballhair away from slipping into Pot4.Maybe a run in the UEFA Cup wouldn't be such a bad thing.

    I think this is the year we will start winning away from home, so i hope the gods are kind and we avoid the likes of barca and man unt although it could be better if we get them in a group then we can bypass em in the last 16.. i really dont know but surely we are due a break lol

    Knowing the Champions League, Celtic are going to get draw with one of the big guns. In the past few seasons we've had Man Utd and AC Milan in the Group Stages so that's gonna continue due to the seedings.

    I would like to see us drawn with two clubs mainly. Kanuas because we can show Rangers how it's done against a bunch of Hearts wannabes and the main one is and I could get stick for this but I would like to see us up against Real Madrid. I mean they are possibly the best team in the world and I would love to see them play Celtic at Parkhead and at the Berbabeu.

    The two most passionate clubs in the world with the best supporters on Earth against each other. I would love to see that.
