There's no need for an apology, he just needs to get on with the job, it's brilliant tae have him back.

Why should he apologise? Lawwell Snr should apologise to be fair.

Didn't say he should apologise but some do think we deserve one.. think he does need to say something tho, or it will rumble on.. get it dealt with and move on.

He won't want to show any sign of weakness, as a support we have to move on, get behind the manager instead of greetin about the past, this could be another cracking season for us.

Ahh well looks like its easy to forgive.....all is forgiven.

I wonder if we will be as forgiving when we see this thread in 3 years "Welcome Back Lenny":84:

In all seriousness though...Kinda looking forward to this now....Doesnt matter whos in charge we get behind them and finish Der Hun off once and for all.

He made a professional decision at a time when he had a long running rocky relationship with the board (his bosses). If he didnt go then he would have during that summer. We went on and won all remaining comps we were still in when he left. Certainly anges way of doing it left a lot more of a bad taste for me.

Everyone outside of Celtic would like nothing better than division within our club, not the smartest thing to do playing into their hands.

Would've been so easy for him never to return, but he did.

Negativity breeds negativity, look at the season we've just had, now we are in an arguably even stronger position, so much to be positive about.

Just watched his first hello I’m back video all the way through and didn’t throw up, which surprised me. His ego won’t let him fail, in Europe, hopefully as we had some horrendous nights at Parkhead under him, psg beating still hurts

Any apology would no doubt be insincere so would be unnecessary. In my opinion sticking his head in the sand regarding his departure to Leicester will do nothing for those with reservations about his appointment.

As long as we win the league, both cups and progress well in Europe then I don't care if he's a snake, rat or an amoeba.

Celtic is what it's all about.

100%. It would have been easy to say no and sit it out wait for a PL job. But he has come back and we have to back the team. It is about Celtic, always, and if he is successful then he will have consigned the midnight flit to Leicester to history. That will be long forgotten.

Canny believe I’m angrier with Ange Postecoglou than I am with Brendan Rodgers. Imagine saying you’d feel like that 2 weeks ago

I’ve came to peace with it all. A week ago I despised Brendan and still loved Ange. Now I just zoned out of any manager chat and fully focused on supporting the team.

Heard some idiot pundit on Clyde the other night saying anything less than another treble would be a disappointment. This is utter nonsense and typical of the negative narrative a lot within the Media like to peddle.

There's anger out there, and for the simple reason they know Rodgers is a top manager, it just wasn't in the script for him to return.
