Schools forcing gender ideology

I know this topic will trigger a few who will call me a bigot for bringing it up, but * it. I just find this concerning.

I don't think schools should be pushing any gender ideologies.

We don't accept schools pushing any political ideology.

Punishing a pupil because he said there are two genders. That is mental. Minestry of Truth sort of stuff.

Teaching a school full of young impressionable children, that statistically 10% of them will probably be gay, that there are multiple genders and they may actually not just be gay the could l be trans and they can take hormone blockers and get surgery all before they are 18 and that's alright.

That's * dangerous.
Schools should not be promoting it.

 

Are they teaching them that or is it a case of the Fascist trying to distract from the fact the schools are losing 100's of teachers a month, staff using food banks, buildings falling apart and half the kids in them are in poverty?

There's nothing wrong with schools correctly teaching that gender is a spectrum, not just male and female.

There are two genders.

There are an unlimited amount of gender identies and you are really just hoping everyone is polite enough to go along with it.

But when schools in the UK are trying to affirm students identifying as a cat, I think a conversation about the full thing is warranted.

I think it's up to the parents to counteract this * what they are getting taught at school. Basically sit them down and tell them it's all aload of * and they'll come to realize it is all a pile of *! Thankfully my 17 year old knows this and is helping my youngest see how much nonsense it is too.

It's just part of this new world we live in. It's just * bonkers everywhere you look.

The number of people triggered by a teacher saying something like “statistically 10% of the population are gay” is utterly absurd.

Honestly it’s telling that you think there’s an issue with that. Your kids, and your kids kids, will refuse to look at gay people as lesser in any way or feel as though it’s a subject that should be dodged.

 

It’s depressing, but this section of the site is honestly riddled with it and has been for a long time.

Same few posters again and again, often regurgitating the same topics, but boy are they loud about it.

I'm saying “statistically 10% of the population are gay” as a general fact, not as something that's been taught.

My point was teaching young impressionable kids that may not even know they are gay yet, that they may not just be gay but one of another number of things.

I think that's confusing to children and could lead kids to a place they would not have gone without all the affirmation in schools and that. Do you know what I'm trying to say?

Trying to force people to say certain things because the "authority" deems it to be good is dangerous.

 

Teach kids to be what the want to be when they’re older (in terms of sexuality etc) and to allow others to do the same. It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that when they’re young.

 

As much as a agree with the teacher that is a dangerous path.

That kid has as much right to his opinion than anyone.

The minute we shut down debate on this and it becomes “you will believe this” is a bad * road.

I’m the most liberal * you will meet, the OP will surely attest to that and while I think his reasons for posting are agenda driven, that clip is disturbing.

Totally agree with this. Schools shouldn’t be pushing any particular agenda when it comes to sexuality or gender- that was my point. I would consider anybody school age young
