I think any enquiry with Knutsen would have been very short..

'I would like a percentage of all transfers, as I have just now with Bodo'

    Celtic delegation sick into mouths..

    If!

I don't believe Celtic would commit to a 5 yr contract so soon but ya never know. It's what's rumored to being negotiated thou!

Rodgers isn't just coming back to win domestic trophies with us! He wants a real go at Europe as any ambitious celtic supporter would. We're on a healthy position at the moment and he believes he can achieve it.

I voted no but I'm coming round now.

If he is the Celtic fan which he claims to be then surely, having got a second bite of the cherry, he won't * it up and jump ship again.

He's supposedly going to be the highest paid manager in our history and has guarantees of financial backing to have a crack at Europe.

So it will certainly be interesting to see if nothing else.

Rodgers and the Board know there will be a degree of scepticism amongst many supporters, would imagine the announcement will be carefully done from a PR point of view.

I suspect (but may be wrong) that this current wee lull publicly has been orchestrated.

It’s apparent that the longer it goes on even the most fervent haters anger is subsiding. By the time he’s appointed we’ll be opening up the stadium again for a hero’s welcome.

If there are any people that are raging if it’s Rodgers and don’t want to support the club, I’ll gladly buy your season ticket from you. I’m looking for another 2 for the rest of the family. Send me a PM. Thanks

He's definitely our next manager! They are just sorting out the fine details and it'll take another big * of of * ups for it to collapse. I think it'll be a 3 yr contract though. Highest paid manger if all time and with good funds to spend himself on his own players but with obvious conditions attached.

It's like this, he's our new manager so we best start getting used to it and back him. It's * we have to deal with these emotions but I do believe there's good things going to happen with him. DD isn't getting any younger and he's going to have another crack at trying for a European trophy before he finally retires and I think this is it.

Of course this is planned. Just last week I detested him. Wouldn't wanted him anywhere near our club again but if he can bring us forward in Europe then I'm in. He won't be forgiven though untill we do something great in Europe!

He'll be a man on a mission and that can only be a good thing.

Aye I think you could be bang on the money, I really wouldn't be surprised if the contract is already done.

Never looked at it like that. Certainly makes sense. Couple that with the Kennedy situation I think you may be on to something there because by all accounts the finances of it is all wrapped up.

If true about the 5 year plan to get to a euro final I could believe it , with the conference league now I dont see why that shouldn’t be a realistic chance , Rodger’s got the semi finals last year with a Leicester team that had a big portion of the players that where relegated , he would also look at how the Huns did in europa league also with a bang average squad and manager ,

with the right improvement in the squad then I don’t see why it wouldn’t be achievable

The coeff would need to drop as the new format stops any parachuting out of competitons into another from 2024 onwards unless that get changed or like I said the coefficient drops we are stuck in cl and I don’t see us making a cl final not unless Arabs pumped money in

Yea probably true. I think if it had just been announced with little fed to the press it would have gone down like a lead balloon.
As much as we may dislike people on the board they aren't * stupid. They've let fans come around to the idea. I'm not pro the appointment but I've already accepted it.
