    Couple of big teams in Spain doing * at the minute. Valencia and Sevilla. Could do very well with teams like that.

    Disagree with that because invincible season aside there was loads of 0-0 draws and we really struggled to break down the teams with low blocks

    Avoid Valencia like the plague. The owner has run that club into the dirt and is refusing to put more money in Peter Lim is the owner, * owns about 40% of Salford along with the Man United guys and hired Gary Neville as manager cause it's his pal.

    They fired Marcelinho cause he slated Lim in public and it's been downhill since, in 2020/21 they brought in about £85 million in transfers and never signed a single player. With the way Rodgers complained about investment here there's no way he'll want to work for Valencia

    Difference between ‘passing it too much at the back’ and not creating though. Was well seen at the time that - as frustrating as the tiki-taka, slow-build passing was to watch at times - it would often work and lull teams so that we’d work an opening a decent amount of times per game. Not my favourite style, and I do generally prefer what Ange aims for, but you can’t deny that Rodgers’ attack fashioned and finished chances.

    Rodgers first season was amazing and the style was more like Ange’s style of play. After that it was terrible. We had hardly any competition and still struggled through a lot of games.

    Winning trebles under him papered over some massive cracks after the first season. Ange has shown him up big time.
