Get this thread in the bin now. I wont buy in as easily to what the next managers feed us, he told us everything we wanted to hear as the support, and not much of it held weight which is disappointing.

Good luck to him and his 4 year deal though.

He was dead set on leaving. I can only hope we will offer what he refused to a good manager who can help us get back to being a tough European side.

He walked out on us for another team. Literally the snakiest thing a manager can do. I don’t blame the guy for taking it though it’s some money and career opportunity.

Club, squad and team haven't been in this good a position when looking for a new manager in my lifetime as far as I can remember. Even dare I say it the Board are better.

Good luck to him. Last 2 years have been a blast, exciting signings and some great football, no real complaints for me.

Btw I think after what’s happened might actually push our hand to something like that all depends on the money offered from uefa and whether qualification becomes easier in order for that to happen though we need to do better coefficient wise

As an outsider I think that is the key to progress and should be top priority.

I don't believe Ange's style was the way forward in Europe. He wasn't scrutinized enough about the European performances as there were some mitigating circumstances and he had domestic credits in the bank.

There now exists a solid platform for a quality manager to come in take the club to the level it deserves to be in Europe.

They can’t afford the money we want for the players and we are under no obligation to sell we could hold out for a year and ange might not be their in a years time so I am not worried about that

Well, it’s just that I’ve yet to see a Python or a Boa leave a management position, let alone a football management position.

I look forward to the day sky backed English premiership goes bust bcoz while throwing billions at it Scotland gets * pennies..I honestly don't know why anyone in Scotland pays that subscription. If a super League actually takes off which I think is inevitable bcoz the real giants of the game like real Madrid.. Barcelona.. Bayern Munich.. juventus ..the Milan teams . Can't compete with wages either. Celtic and rangers for that matter will only be able to compete properly if we can be included in it.

It really does sadden me to see him gone.

He goes with my best wishes, genuinely I think he will be fantastic for Spurs.
