Thats the one positive thing you can say about when Rodgers left. Is that he showed a bit of respect and didnt raid our team for players. I think Postecoglu will though. Kyogo is his player and he'll want to see him in the EPL. Jota aswell and mayber Carter-Vickers aswell

 

Since Rodgers, I’ve only allowed myself to get invested in managers up to a certain point. I guess that’s why I’m not as gutted as some others.

Hard to be objective and level-headed about your own club, but like I say, since Rodgers, that’s the mindset I’ve tried to have at points (not always - there’s a time for getting carried away celebrating or that).

At the end of the day, Ange achieved an incredible amount in 2 years; turned the team around; helped oversee an apparent change in the culture of our football ops; and he left at the right time of year, unlike BR.

Also, he had his limits, and I’m happy for the opportunity to find someone who will bend a bit in their Plan A and not get us predictably tanked in Europe.

Aye, he could’ve stayed another season. He also could’ve been clearer about going. He could have used the Cup final post-match interview to give us a proper farewell (or at least said something more meaningful and selfless than, ‘let me enjoy my time off’).

Overall, though, I’m not entirely gutted and wish him well.

 

Kennedy will find his way back one day mate and he’ll be even better
