    I think you are underestimating Ange as a man if you think he will go in there with his tail between his legs and do as he’s told

    What? For clubs to pinch our managers? I can understand the argument in terms of players, but I see no benefit at all if he does well down South.

    Oh, well. A few years ago we were losing our best players to Southampton and our manager to Leicester. Now they're going to Spurs and Arsenal. You can't argue that that's not progress. :giggle1:

    It's not just that though. It's that he's working at a club with a loon for a chairman, he's working with massively different players that he has no control over. Here he IS the boss and the players won't step out of line, there he is a just another manager and the players don't give a * as down there they have all the power. Then there's his keep running your * of until you drop game and I just can't see the egotistical millionaires going for that, plus his all out gun ho attack style will get shredded by the big boys if he doesn't adapt and so far he's not shown that he will adapt. I personally think he'll get bounced after 4 months but if he proves me wrong then so be it.

    Why didn’t you just name the player? :giggle1:

    Well Kane and Lloris are all but gone. Hojberg and Dier will be put in their place or sold if they aren’t happy. Pretty simple under Ange.

    He’d do well making Son and Perisic the leaders. Or Romero if he can control the psychopath.

    It would explain the champagne popping noises from the chairman’s office

    You think Mourinho is the type to do as he is told, how did that work out for him? Levy calls the shots at the end of the day, bigger and better managers than Ange have tried to take control of that club and been turfed out. It's a bin fire.

    Mourinho "I have to admit in my long career, with so many things that happen, that one (the Tottenham sack) is quite unique. But I think also Mr Levy is quite a unique person in football."

    I don't think things will go well for him there, but mainly due to the way Spurs are run.

    This is true, the better he does it only strengthens our reputation as a feeder for the EPL, that's no bad thing, whether it's players or managers.

    Ange Pissedalotoffansoffecoglou. This will happen to us and indirectly, we want this to happen as we will have been successful, just need to temper our desires to keep a good dmanager for longer than 2/3 years. I hold no ill will at all, just hope we get the next appointment right and we must do

    That is a very well balanced and sensible view M8 however, I will appreciate it more once I have calmed down a wee bit

    * gutted.

    We need to start tying down managers on mega bumper contracts. So that if this does happen again at least we'll get properly compensated. Sick of players and managers using us a stepping stone to get to the EPL. But its the way the football world works I suppose.

    Let's face it, we're seen as a gateway to the PL, if he does well then it helps enhance our reputation, exactly the same as players..
