One last thing I need to say is * hate Kevin Muscat. Filthy * as a player.

The * elbows did more work in 90 mins than all sheila's going off their * at the boxing day sales. Going mental

So, it's goodbye then. Can't ignore the fact I'm absolutely gutted by this and not just because we have lost a manager who I just loved. Loved his attitude. His straight shooting, no * taken, way of dealing with every single person in the media and here we are, 2 years later, mooching about with the press like a sulking teenager because they knew and we knew what he and his agent had been planning behind our backs.

Look, I get the draw of it all. I get the money on offer, to protect his family financially for the next few lifetimes. I get the draw of going up against Pep, Klopp and Ten Hag. I get the money and salaries down there will make him competitive in the transfer market. I get all that. It just seems like the complete wrong move for him, in my opinion. Tottenham are the biggest bunch of basket cases down there. Their fans have the biggest superiority complex I think I have ever seen. So, they get 3 or 4 top 4 finishes and now their fans think they're * Peps Barca, who should be having a clean sweep of trophies every year. Biggest bunch of moonhowlers the footballing world has ever seen.

Don't even get me started on his new * boss either. Hiy, I'm a Celtic fan and I know we've had our problems with certain members of our board, including our unofficial owner. Daniel Levy makes Dermot Desmond look like Roman Abramovich though, let's be * honest here. The guy is an absolute control freak. I thought Ange would have been cleverer than this.

I know people are going to think I'm like the ex boyfriend who "doens't want to go out with her anyways"... that's not where I'm going with this. See if a Brighton or a Brentford had came in for him? I would have genuinely seen the appeal. A fan base who know where they are in English Football, with a hierarchy behind the scenes who work wonders. He could have went to any of them teams and been magnificent. This is just destined to fail for me. Can you see Harry Kane bursting a gut to close down a defender? Can you *. Full of primadonnas down there.

We gave Ange everything. Absolutely everything and he's repaid that with the success he's brought the club, absolutely no doubt about it. Talking about legacies and building things here, all while he knew he would jump at the first serious offer that came in. Quoting the most loyal of servants in Tommy Burns, while his agent was on our * pitch, soaking up the atmosphere while he was making deals in the background, behind our backs. Especially after being promised the world and more from the board, who will inevitably be blamed by large sections of our fans because it's the only way we know how.

This is the last I'm going to say on Ange. I thank him for everything he done for our club. 5 trophies in 6 years, millions in the bank, some of the best football I've ever seen us play, but it's wasted an opportunity for me. An opportunity to have more than money. Yeah, you'll have more millions in your bank than you would have before but you will never have what Martin O'Neil had. You will never have that legacy. You will never have that adulation from a fan base. You were on the cusp of greatness here, legendary status. The most disappointing thing? He's just like every other manager out there and that's fine. Maybe time for him to drop the act though. We know now and we can see it.

My attention and focus will now turn to who becomes the next manager of our great football club. I hope Desmond, Lawwall, Nicholson and Lawwall Jr are drawing up the names without the usual suspects on it. No David Moyes, Steve Clarke or Neil Lennon. No Roy Keane. Ange was as left field as you could possibly get.

Names I like have been floating about and some are probably huge risks but aren't they all? Knutsen obviously fits the bill. Amazing football, on a shoe string budget while making inroads into Europe. He has to be at the top of the list. Rodgers, he's a steady hand and he plays attractive football but there needs to be complete changes if he comes back in. He's back on our terms, not the other way round this time. He coaches the players and he has an opinion on recruitment. Scouting department remains. Can the fanbase forgive him? Eventually, we all would if it became successful. The difficulty is if it doesn't. That's where the toxic atmosphere comes and we could really be doing without any negativity around our club. Let the orcs across the road have that. Potter, yeah, not against it but I don't think he's the right fit for us and for himself at the moment. Muscat, he's been the successor to Ange at a couple of his previous clubs and continued to build and build well. Yeah, we all know his history on the other side of the city but if he came in and maintained what we have? Same style of play, same success, are we silly not to talk to him if it's something he would entertain? Iraiola/Michel. Absolute certainties for me but can't see how we get them. Iraiola turned down jobs in the EPL last year to stay in Spain, Michel has just signed a new long term deal. Carlos Corberan is someone I think we should have our eye on. I know he's 6 months into a 3 year deal at WBA and I suspect he's back on the Leeds list after turning them down after Marsch was sacked. He maybe thinks he can het WBA promoted next year. Given he took over when they were bottom and got them to within a couple of points of the play offs. Bielsa student, plays the game the Celtic way. Young, upcoming coach. Would hope he was on the list. My out of the box appointment? Michael Carrick. He worked wonders with Boro last year. Got them into the play offs after a dismal first few months to their season and had then playing good football. Didn't work out for him in the play offs, where they didn't show up but they were the best team in the league last year for a good while. Probably too early for him to take on a role this size but he's making moves down there.

There will be many other appointments that could work out. Heard someone mention a guy from Poland who's been cleaning up with a team he got promoted for the third tier. A manager who was coaching in Belgium, as well. I'm sure we will have a good list of names, some we know and maybe some we don't.

Time to move on Celtic, and let's continue to make it successful.

If it's true, that's a big difference with Rodgers.

See if/when he goes, it is what it is.

I'll probably sulk for a few days and say some things that I won't necessarily mean, but then in time I'll look fondly over the last two years and remember life as a Celtic fan goes on.

Oh, and as soon as "Big" Ange walks out of those famous doors of CP in a taxi headed for the airport to go to London, much the same as any player or anyone else connected with Celtic who has left, he will mean nothing to me.

My love is with Celtic and Celtic alone. If you're not at Celtic, then you're not Celtic.

    Simple.

I wonder which Spurs legend he’ll quote at his presser.

It was a joke to be honest. Finished 25 points behind in the league, pumped out the league cup at home to Ross County, beaten but the huns in the Scottish Cup. Going to Dubai when we had games in hand to play and end up taking an injured player who catches Covid which forces almost all the team to isolate and miss games. It was a * shambles.

I think he will as it will be harder for him to get Far East players in England

So has he gone or not?

Reading a few posts on here, he's already gone. He's got a 3 year contract too.

There's nothing on Sky sports news yet.
