Thank you, Ange. The last two years have been a pure joy to watch. Never has a Celtic manager struck such a personal cord with me in terms of personal philosophy and outlook on the game. Would have loved to see him stay and continue his great work and from his manner and general demeanor on Saturday after the cup final anyone with good sense can see this is a man who leaves us with a heavy heart. But timing is everything in football and this was his opportunity to go and rub shoulders with the biggest and best and one he may never have got again.
As gutted as I am he is going I wish him every success and hope he continues to prove his doubters wrong. Will he ever experience the same feelings he did at Celtic probably not. But as Celtic fans, we know just how special we are, a man has the right to follow his dreams and pursue his own path in life wherever it may take him from here.
The bottom line for me is that no manager in my lifetime has left us in better shape and for that and the success he brought us I am truly grateful.
As for Celtic well quite simply, bring on the next manager and the next chapter. Because We Never Stop!

Looking back to the title win, it’s a bit of a riddy seeing his agent on the field now at full time. We now know exactly why he was there. Make no mistake about it, Ange has pulled the wool over our eyes. I’d have respected him a lot more had he not fed us the lines about building a legacy and saying “you’ll be surprised how long I’m here for”. Aye , you weren’t wrong there Ange, but just not in the way we thought.

To be fair, he probably realises that he needs a team to hit the ground running there. It’s a HUGE REBUILD at SPURS, I would want a trusted and respected team with me too.

Grateful for the job he done, especially last season.

But, I’m glad I don’t need to read folk on here and Reddit acting like he’s the second coming of Christ anymore, and that we should be honoured to have been graced by his presence.

Why wouldn’t you sign a crazy long deal
With a perm team? They are renowned for handed out crazy salaries and having no problem paying them off. It’s just common sense, he could make more money in a 60 day tenure at spurs then he would here for 3 years.

Spurs would never ever offer him a rolling contact anyway in fact I don't know any teams apart from us that do it

Will the same cliches be rolled out at Spurs?

“I absolutely love them. If you don’t enjoy these games you’re better off not being part of a club like this."

Ange really * me off when he dumped the OZ national team prior to the world cup
2 weeks after Australia qualified for the 2018 world cup he * off.

Still * scunnered with this absolute anticlimax.

Can’t decide how I feel about Ange, don’t think I’ve ever believed in a manager as much as him. Said many times in his thread on here that I’m just in total awe of the guy, so this one defo hurts. But, he deserves to test himself against the best, he could have just waited a wee bit longer :54:

Just can’t see him being successful at Spurs at all. Unless they’re going for a change in direction he’ll have his hands tied from the get go there. Financially, aye great move but footballing wise it’s a terrible move for him.

Get *, built us from a joke???? You are kidding aren’t you? We lost the 10 in a row season … that’s far and away from being a joke. Think you need to show more respect for the club, ffs.

He doesn't feel sentimental about players we know that (Daizen seemingly the only exception for some reason) if he takes any of them it will be purely for football reasons nothing else.

One terrible season out of 10 and the club is a joke :56:

What I will say though is, I think we were headed down a dark path if it didn’t go as bad as it did that season. So in a sense, he saved us from becoming a joke.

"You'll be surprised how long I'm here for"
Actually turns out to be part of his villain origin story arc.
