Maybe I'm just a bit bitter with how it appears to be going but with hindsight we could possibly have seen this coming the whole thing of he likes to be on a 12 month rolling deal as it gives him something over the board which we all took as a somewhat positive can just as easily be used to work his ticket

 

Canny pull off a jumper the same way though. That is the real issue here.

Btw I think Ange flops at Spurs. Not because he isn't a good manager, but I don't see him taking a bunch of primadonna's, instilling his ethos properly, dealing with a * like Levy, conducting a rebuild, playing his ultra attacking football against better teams, and coping with the inevitable fan backlash when results don't go his way.

He had one team to beat here, down there he'll have City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle, Villa, Brighton etc to contend with. They won't allow him time, if he doesn't finish in the top 8 he'll be out.

It's too early for him imo but he's taken the gamble now. Just hope it was worth turning your back on what you had here big man.

If he left after 3 or 4 weeks in the job, most of you * would have been celebrating.

Now you're all goint Tonto because he MIGHT, that is MIGHT want to try himself in a better league.

 

In hindsight you can probably trace the beginning of the end to when the jumper went away.

What most made me think he was away yesterday was the thing he said about appreciating Celtic supporters taking him into their arms when everybody else was calling his appointment a joke. As much as I'm sure he does genuinely appreciate that, I think it was mainly an appeal to Spurs fans for their support.

 

I expected him to be the first to go.

 

I think in the event of a new management team coming in they should have a clean slate to work with. If they want to keep anyone they can, but the priority should be their own choice of staff.
