IF! hes away or going sooner is always better. Allows everyone to get on with their jobs. I'm just hoping the board don't get caught with their pants down like 2 years ago. Need to make the transition as smooth as possible. If the board was competent and ange was honest with them the ball will be rolling already.

 

If it’s true and he goes then can’t help but feel bitter, he could of been honest with us and gave us a chance to give him a proper send off.

Will be seriously disappointing if he leaves after everything he has said for * Spurs.

Short term v Long term benefit.

Was it to our short term benefit to call off looking for a Director of Football because Ange wanted that control for himself? Yes. Was it to our long term benefit now that he is off down south to polish his ego and we have no DoF to scout his replacement and oversee the transfer window in his absence? No.

We went all in on Ange because he swept everyone, including the board, up in his "building a legacy" pish now he is fecking off after 2 seasons.

 

Of course there has been. It would have been through Ange's agent though. Ange was being cute with his wording though saying he (personally) hasn't spoken with them. Everyone knew that anyway. Handled very badly in my opinion.

I think Ange was wanting it to be kept on the down low until our season was over but it's clearly been leaked from Spurs end (likely on purpose). Not a good start. If this is a sign of things to come I fear he'll be chucked under the bus by Levy and co

We are a huge, historical club with a fanatical fan base and guaranteed CL football. We should be a draw for anyone.

We know he's gone, what's coming out today is that the sombre attitude of the board and players yesterday wasn't because Ange probably would be gone, it's because he was already gone.. most will be disappointed including myself but nobody is certainly bigger than the club and we will move on a continue to be successful.. the only part of the whole thing that sits a bit uneasy is that trimboli lad was on the pitch last week for the celebrations and that little awkward convo they were having when the camera panned on them. as someone posted early days when he landed with us ",best of luck Ange, You're gonna need it"

Oh for * sake, how many people say "'till death us do part" and then * the baby sitter at the first opportunity.

If that's what he said, then that is what he thought at the time.
I'm not going to slag somebody who has given us 5 out of 6 trophys, and came within a baw hair of 6 out of 6, just because he got a bit carried away.
I want Ange to stay, but if he goes I will have nothing but good thougths about him.

 

To Be Honest...If he came out and said there was talks for 2 weeks.....Imagine if we lost the final?

The hatred would be unreal,blaming him for opening his mouth and causing it.
