One could say that if he was definitely leaving, he'd admit it. At most, he is yet to have talks with Tottenham. I'd love to be a fly on the wall and listen to that clash of wills between Ange and Levy.

Celtic fans turning on Ange when he is still the Celtic manager is mental. You can get your anger out if he should really leave and it's official. And btw, why should he stay when his own fans turn on him because of some rumours? You give him a reason to leave, think about that.

 

Its not always the money. Spurs is a huge challenge and ange has always said he relishes new challenges.
Fair enough 100k a week might help but when new opportunities open up you need to weigh your options.

I'll have no ill feeling towards ange. He's turned this club around. Do I want him to stay for another few years? Defo. I just hope the club can maintain the high standards and footballing ethos this man has instilled into our club

 

Ronnie does sound like a viable name for a removal man to be fair.

That he will get more at Spurs is both obvious and not the point.

 

Ange was due to move house this summer anyway I believe, so this isn’t necessarily big news or related to a move to Spurs in any way. He goes on holiday on Tuesday, so house cleared then and into a new gaff when he returns was the plan.

Leaving on good and acceptable terms for another job is one thing… we all do it… but If a deal were already done … while pretending there’s been no contact to this point… then it suddenly becomes a different matter - very underhand and sour-tasting.. if not downright dodgy.

The drastic drop in form (post league confirmation) was quite strange. We all felt it was a mix of heids on the beach and/or keeping it safe for the SCF…
