He’s been asked numerous times from reporters to give us, the fans, something to alleviate our fear of him leaving and he’s refused to do so. Used every excuse possible to refuse to answer questions on the Tottenham links. That interview on Viaplay after the game was absolute cringe and he only has himself to blame.

After his first year, he said “next year, we will be back. We will be better”… or something along them lines. He’s not mentioned next year at all.

This is a fair read and highlights a couple points I made yesterday. He's known and tasked his agent to get the deal and been in the loop the whole way. His relationship is now very fractured due to this saga. He said it himself, you commit 100% to this journey or your gone.

Time for you Ange to make that choice.

Would be looking at another complete rebuild then. Ange's style of play has been drilled into the players so much they do it without thinking. It also works against the teams here who park the bus. If Moyes style is like Strachans we will be looking at alot of 0-0 draws domestically

I'm looking forward to the next manager coming in, someone younger hopefully and also willing to commit to a long term project. What was the point in having all the academy teams playing the same way as the first team, if the managers going to * off at the first decent opportunity. Ange has been great for this club , but he's by all means perfect. We played some great football under Rodgers and even deila at times. He's come in and stabilized the club and I'll always be thankful for that but it probably is right for him to move on.

When he gave that speech at the end of last season, we were out of the Scottish Cup so it was our last game. Yesterday we just done a treble. It was all about this club, not Postecoglou.

We need that style in Europe, though. I know separately training 2 tactical set-ups is tough, but we need it.

Let us know how you get on at the Spurs forum.

Honestly think some of the Aussies on here (not all by a long shot) would be on both here and hun forums if Sevco had, say, Muscat as manager.

Mate, you can batter it any way you want. He’s literally being asked, after our final game of the season, whether or not he will be here next season. He’s refusing to answer the question. We all wanted it to be about the club yesterday but because of one man’s refusal to answer questions, it took the shine off it for me and a lot of our fans. He’s not stupid and let’s no pretend he is. He’s not talking about committing to the club because he’s not committed to the club. It’s that simple. You can do all the mental gymnastics you want, it’s clear as day to anyone.

If he commits yesterday, the day becomes all about him and takes away from the players. So yes, let’s not pretend he is stupid.

No it doesn’t. It becomes about the club. He’s the manager. He’s part of that. A celebration of winning a historic 8th treble and the man who got us there committing to the club.

His refusal to answer questions has made it about him. Unintentionally, I’d guess. He doesn’t want to take away the shine off history but the simple fact is, he did.
