Spurs are definitely a poisoned chalice, but if a manager was looking for a huge ( 10 mill) payout when he is sacked within 12 mths then Spurs would be a smart choice.

Kyogo, he’s stated he’s wanted to play in the EPL and he’d be a perfect foil to Kane and if Kane doesn’t want to play Angeball then Kyogo will take his position.

The absolute disrespect of English media who just talk about transfers as if they are guaranteed to happen. They over value their game when it’s just over hyped inflated by money

    Kane is offski. 100% gone..

If they replaced him with Kyogo with that 100 million they'd riot and Ange wouldn't see the first game of their season..

Tbh, for me he always came across as a guy with a hard shell and a soft core. When he talks about his dad you get the idea that he was a hard man and it's very common in that generation for men to not show their emotions or to get touchy with their kids. I had the impression that what he does is partly to get the admiration from his dad which football was maybe the only way to get that. In some ways I'm similar to that behaviour that's why I speculate so :84:

I think he really enjoys the adulation he gets here but he would never really show it. Really hoped he stayed for another year and it's still not guaranteed he'll leave.

I'm not believing it till the either club confirms it.

However, I learned after Rodgers comments that talk is cheap. Ange has hit us with a few peaches as well. But ultimately we're a feeder club for the the elite. Both players and staff. Until something changes and we decide to stop being that [won't happen as its our business model and we ain't moving leagues] then this is what will happen.

I learned a lot with our board and last 3 managers [NL, BR,AP]. And the most honest thing was Ange's comments about not getting attached to anyone. However this is the strongest we've been both on and off the field. So we kick on with the plan of getting the next level of player in to progress that, be it Ange's signings (I hope) or a new guys.

Like I said. I'll wait till its confirmed.

If he doesn't go this summer we'd be getting 1 more season out of him max, said it from the start unfortunately if a manager/player comes to us and is such an obvious success a 3 years cycle is the most we can probably hope for, as 'big' a team as we are the league just isn't attractive enough for most outsiders to want to commit longer term.

Anyone that gets bitter or starts talking * about Ange leaving needs to accept the reality of the level we're really at, outwith a handful of european games a season the standard of opposition is poor, down there he'll be getting a much bigger test week to week. And remember he said from the start not to get too attached, nothing in football lasts forever.

Proper * news, but he will go with my blessings.
Lets not forget how we set up now.
We seem to have turned a corner with structure and backroom.
    We also have an identity...
Now all players are part of the cog of the club as is the manager.
We only need to find who now fits our ideas and we go again.
Very similar to benfica, ajax, RB leipzig.
    In Nicholson we trust!!!

Looking likely now, although nothing is concrete yet.

Regardless, I understand this will be a difficult and nervous time for you guys, wondering whether I'm going to stay on here. I did follow Ange after all...

What I can say, in all seriousness, is that I've taken the club to my heart over these past 2 years. And, weirdly, Scottish football in general, for all its petty, biased, often backwards ridiculousness. So I will be staying and excited (and terrified) to see who we appoint and which players stay and go.

    A weight off your minds.

This might be naive, but now I really do wonder if this did play a factor in the team’s form falling off a cliff for those few games…
