This was your exact comment "Not looking good I must say.
If he goes, and I reckon he will, I'm between Robson, Brown and Dyche.
Can't make my mind up "....

    Who is Nicholson’s boss?

PL represents the shareholders, while he doesn’t make day to day decisions, Nicholson answers to him and the board.

Would be a bit weird for him to go after an interview like that. The big man's staying isn't he :ange:

Doing the rounds in the rags. Quotes were lifted from an interview he did with CelticTV, not aired yet though I don't think.

That article please me but also terrifies me.. how many * players we gonna sell?

What's the point in building a winning team only to dismantle it during the summer. I know we are a selling club and it's our business model but is it a wonder we will struggle to hold on to Ange or any decent manager

He's going nowhere judging by that! Love the guy and I hope to stays and makes monumental history. He's already on the cusp of it. I have never loved a manager more.

Peter lawell is effectively a honorary role basically like the speaker in parliament saying he is Nicholson boss is like saying Ian bankier was lawell boss just isn’t the case it would be different if their wasn’t a ceo then chairman would take responsibilities it is the board of directors and mainly Desmond who Nicholson answers to

I was actually playing jenga last weekend with some very lovely young ladies in a bar in Phuket.. :smoke:

Thing with Jenga is, if you take away a very important piece the whole thing * collapses.

You say one or two players will be sold but if we get decent offers for say Starfelt, Reo, Kyogo Matt and say Jota.. you think out board will refuse? I'd be very worried they wouldn't..

Near impossible way to build long term though. Replace a couple of key players with duffs and you're boned big time.. but that's just the reality I guess

It's been a while since I had a moan about the board because they are doing a good job just now. I also know we will lose big players, its just the way it is as you said..its reality.

I think what I'm getting at is how long before Ange gets the proper hump losing his top players every season. One thing is for sure that would not be a worry at spuds, a club that managed to hold onto one of the best strikers in the world in Harry Kane

Not trying to be argumentative or condescending, but a CEO answers to the board in any big company, which is led by a chairperson. Specifically in this case Celtic state that budgets and significant contracts need board approval. If Ange is about to be made the highest paid manager in Celtic history, then that would be considered a significant contract, which in turn will require PL and the board’s approval.

The odds at the bookies have dropped considerably this morning. The silence on any other names for the Spurs job has me worried they are waiting until after Saturday

if they were considering Rodgers they would surly be talking to him now as he’s a free agent

    it’s not looking good
