Yes, Spurs have a brilliant new stadium and play in the EPL, but they just finished 8th and no Europe this season.

They are a poisoned Chalice of a football Club. Daniel Levy is a total clown, who likes to burn thru Managers, thinking that Spurs are big club, because they won a trophy in the 1950’s.

I think Ange, will do a MON and stay for 4/5 years and then wait for a move to Man City to Replace Pep or Liverpool to Replace Klopp. Both of those clubs have excellent environments for managers to succeed.

 

2/1 now I'm getting worried

While I agree that it's probably a poisoned chalice, and in the end I think he'll stay. But I'm not big on this sort of reverse arrogance aimed at a club like Spurs, they are still a relatively big club with history

I genuinely don't think he'll go. Tbh i'd be surprised if Spurs have even made any contact at this moment in time. If anything, he'll just be under a serious consideration stage with a host of other names on the list and will only be a legit candidate if those guys knock them back.

Also Ange loves a challenge, and I get if Spurs do come in for you, that would get your attention, but putting EPL prestige and big money aside (which Ange has plenty of), why would he even want to work with a guy with near complete control over Spurs signing policy? That's a job for a yes man that will accept what he's given which Ange most definitely won't and Levy absolutely will not budge on that position as seen by the Conte saga and Spurs fans wanting him gone.

Also funny how these links are at there most intense in the lead up to important games? Maybe there is some truth to these stories but a lot of it is blown out of proportion by a hun infested media that want him gone.

I really hope he’s not away, but if he gets offered the spurs job I can’t see him turning it down.

People saying he’s not going to give up on the champions league, or they’re not in Europe or they’re a * show right now are not thinking from Ange’s perspective.

About 90% of Celtic fans didn’t want him, didn’t think he’d be good enough or had never heard of him and look at us now, we love him!

* believe in his own ability, and rightly so! He’ll be thinking he can go there probably have about £100m or something to spend and have top level international players. Imagine the kind of football he’ll have them playing? He’ll believe he can have them challenging for the title and I believe he would as well.

Also, when is the last time a manager from Scotland took over a team at the top(or general top6 side)? Maybe Graeme Souness, 30 years ago, it just doesn’t happen. If we think Tottenham wouldn’t hire him because he’s here, he definitely doesn’t get a city or Liverpool. This is probably the best he would get, even if he took us to the knockouts next season.

I hope he doesn’t get offered the job, he’s the best manager I think I’ve ever seen at us, but I can’t see him turning it down.

 

You got to ask why haven't spurs not made a appointment yet and they must be waiting for a manager till their season is over and if spurs haven't made a appointment by Friday then it's looking like the rumour might be true and it could be Ang they are waiting for .

 

They've still to appoint a DOF. They'll do that before they do anything. Could see it dragging on.
