Technically he is found wanting big time, but * * he is so important. In the 2nd half that run back to concede a corner I think? Ridiculous work rate.

If we had Jota on his side, we aren't the same team. As the saying goes, you're tired watching him. Deserves as many plaudits as anyone else.

    Edit: I meant "a Jota"

Regarding his technical ability I definitely think he will improve. He's still only 25, even though he doesn't look it :giggle1:

Great assist, great guy, great workrate.

His all round ability and decision making are shocking though. He infuriates me during games.

Mate the weird thing is technically, for one wee moment, suddenly he’s very much not. Just from time to time.

Today being perfect example for it. Because that cross for Jota is a much, much better cross, with an insane amount of technique, to win the game. And the thing is, its not the first time he’s done something like that but for some reason you still watch him sometimes and think you’re no capable of that tekkers mate

Peach of a cross for jota. They have a great knack of knowing where the other will be. Love him. HH

He actually put two great crosses in for Jota today, it's just that the earlier one slipped under Jota's boot.

Had a couple of moments where his technique let him down badly but overall he was unreal and his cross was the difference on the day.

If he had the technique of Jota he’d be playing elite level football so hard to complain about that, his work rate and desire to help the team is unrivalled by anyone, such a valuable player.

Aye tbf you're right. He's just so hit and miss technically but I don't even know if we can improve on him, he's so important to us. Literally the one time today Tavernier lost him, Tavernier hire
Aye I pretty much agree. He's just not silky or flashy in any way shape or form but he's so so important. You're right about the assist too, he has that in him, arguably not enough but I can't fault him cos he just owns that side. The last 2 Hun games, literally the only time Tavernier gets free, misses the back post chance, today, you're stretching, but Tavernier hits the post. Bar those couple of moments Maeda has him pinned back. I just don't see us being as good with two Jotas is my point. I'm also * steaming typing this so up the * Celts

    His work rate is unreal.

I thought he was sloppy at times, but quality ball for goal.

There was one near end of game I thought he had chucked it and seemed to have stopped chasing Tav and started to seemingly jog, camera went out of focus for a second and then when back on Tavpen, the Baldy buzz bomb was tackling him, speed of fkn light.

    Incredible workmate.

The more I see it the more I think how the * did he manage to get that cross in on the turn at that pace. What a * ball!!! And what desire to chase the ball down when the huns stood still.

    Well in Daizen Bhoy!!!

Very important player for us, work rate is unbelievable. He loves playing the zombies and cracking cross for the goal.
