Have to say this is a pretty tempting offer..get the semi final (and final lol) plus the internationals...i'm wondering if they have the contracts for next years league cup / internationals.. or is it just a last cash grab?

I'd be quite happy with getting Jota back starting and Hatate and Abada on the bench..

Broadcast league cup to 2027. Chances are Scottish Cup semi final will be a couple of weeks earlier next year so you'd get all that too (the final will be on council tele too)

 

It's a big game to give Vata his first start, a lot of pressure on the young lad and I don't think that would be fair. He may do OK but I think the risk isnt worth it.

What’s the script with Goldson and Kent? Heard Beale say they are both due back this weekend but that was about a week ago and he seems the type to just say what the fans want to hear and not think ahead to much. Pretty sure he said he hoped a couple would be back after the Aberdeen game. Would prefer they were out as Davies and Souttar are Hearts level and Kent is the only ball carrier against us they have.

 

Got a feeling our bench could be the difference if it’s a tight / stuffy game, especially if the game goes beyond 90 mins.

If we start with a midfield of Iwata, McGregor and O’Riley, we can call on Hatate and Mooy. Two players who sliced them open and created the goals at Hampden last time.

Jota and Maeda from the start with Abada and Haskabanovic as options off the bench. Haskabanovic is an impact player for me, look at the chances we had when we came on in the LC final. Abada doesn’t need any introduction when it comes to scoring against them.

Defo wouldn't start Vata, wouldn't be fair in the lad if he struggled as you just know some fans would hound him and say he isn't good enough based on one game. Would happily start him in the game at Ibrox however as it's essentially a dead rubber and less risky.
