    Very difficult, there's players that have shown that on their day are as good as anyone, and think Kobayashi will become pretty invaluable. Still early days for Oh as well.

    Impossible to do. Mooy be about 5th a couple of weeks ago and Starfelt is a steady solid player along with Taylor and AJ. Don’t think there’s anything between Abada, Maeda & Haksa even though are all quite different but would contribute roughly the same if they played the same minutes. Think Yuki will be a player too.

    Yet we seem to do just fine without him when he's out. Not saying he's not one of our best players but he's certainly not "miles" ahead of the rest of the squad. I know what he brings but I'm just curious to hear what you think Mcgregor does that, say, Hatate doesn't?

    McGregor has umpteen attributes that not only Hatate doesn’t currently have but unfortunately will never have because you can’t coach the fact that Calmac is a thoroughbred Celtic captain.

    Hatate is an excellent modern midfielder with a high ceiling but, for me, some are way over board with him at this point. Proven by the fact so many seem to think he’s our best and most important player.

    I think Maeda is underrated in terms of his importance to how we play especially against better opposition also think he's technically better than he initially got credit for. Cameron Carter-Vickers I just think is world class don't see any centre backs better than him currently.

    Pure captain thouroughbred what does that even mean hes no a horse lol if Cal's so much better it should be easy to list of a bunch of attributes or skills that makes him miles better than the rest. I love Cal and hes defo in my top two which is close but I think people go way overboard with him like.

    It means he’s the leader of the club that has cultivated him as a footballer and a man from when he was knee high. He’s put in years and years of consistent excellence and most importantly put trophies in the cabinet and medals around his neck. He is the leader of this relentless winning machine Ange has built.

    Cal at Hatate’s current age had a dozen winners medals. Like I said Hatate is a class player but he also has pieces of the jigsaw yet to add. He’s incomparable to Cal at this stage in his career.

    The quality in the top 5 is something different. We must go back to the MON era to see something similar in squad quality (Henke, Lambert, Mjällby, Lenny, Petrov and Hartson).

    McGregor is top class. Don’t think anyone would say otherwise. And those placing him as our best player have plenty to base that on.

    But the idea he’s miles better than the likes of Hatate, Jota and CCV is nonsense.
