Sorry mate I think you have no chances with Adriano & co. My prediction 1-4 ,our Eastern European clubs (except rich Russia and Ukraine) are not strong enough to compete with big teams . I'll be cheering Artmedia!

 

Have to say, I think it'll be about 1-3 or 0-2 to Inter! Would be good to give the huns a scare though and Artmedia winning.

Artmedia - Inter Milan 0:1 :-(

I must say, that Milan was a better team tonight, but Artmedia was not so far from the draw. My prediction was 1:1 and it was still real in the second half, the last 25-30 minutes was Milan only defending the result and Artmedia was having two big chances to score... So, maybe we will be luckier for example in the match against Rangers.
I think, we make some points in this group, the matches against Celtic, Partizan and Milan shows, that Artmedia is not so weak team, but only the 4th place is real for us... Maybe we can beat Rangers or Porto at home and make some point somewhere away. The Milan are playing without people on the home stadium, so maybe there or in the Ibrox stadium. Btw, I think that the teams from east Euorpe are having a good future, the political stability and better economic situation with the integration in the EU will be good for the people and the growth you can see in all society including the sport. Many new stadiums was builded last years and much more people can paying and sponsoring sport hobbies to their chlidrens and possibly new talents.

 

Hi again, I have one question to the Celtic fans.... I forgot it to ask you before, but please can me somebody say, why do you hate Rangers so much? I don't know if it's normal too in the others countries, but for example here in Slovakia everybody is cheering to every our team on the international scene. For example, if some club is playing good on the international scene, it will make some points to the UEFA ranking and it can helps to qualify in the UEFA competitions for other clubs... Why are you not cheering to others scottish teams? When we was playing against Celtic, the Rangers fans was cheering to us... Now we will be playing against Rangers and the Celtic fans wants to see the Rangers totally destroyed with the same 0-5 result... In Bratislava are playing three teams, but there is no enemy reactions between these teams. So, why it is so in Scottland?

 

It's not only in Scotland, m8. Have you ever heard a word "derby"? In fact, between Celtic and huns it's not only derby that matters. The history and honour. It's not just football. It's Football.
I feel sorry for your footie if it's true what you said. But it's hard to believe that there's no hard rivalisation...

Yes, certainly there is some rivality between two or three our teams, but not on the international scene. Everybody knows, that is important for our country, so everybody is cheering to these teams. For example, I am in fact a fan of Slovan Bratislava, not Artmedia Bratislava... Artmedia is playing their matches in CL on Tehelne pole stadium, and that is the stadium of Slovan... UEFA rules made it impossible to play their CL matches on the staduim of Artmedia, but nobody of Slovan fans was angry. Artmedia have around 3000 fans, that are visiting every match, but Tehelene pole has a capacity of 30000 people and it was totally full on the matches against Celtic and Inter Milan, so do you know who was the rest 27000? The fans of Slovan... and many thousands common people, that are cheering to nobody and wants only to see playing top europe teams on their own eyes, what happends in Slovakia two or three times in year. And these mix of many diffierent common people and fans are cheering to every slovak team. This year it's Artmedia, the next year it will be maybe some other team. So it is hard to explain, but is Slovakia it's so. In Scottland is rivality between Celtic and Rangers very big as I see. But maybe it only because the football is in Scottland sport number one and it's very popular, but in Slovakia it's icehockey not football. One season before was one refree attacked by players, because they lost their match and this refree was after that few days in hospital. The icehockey is passion for everybody here. It's sometimes funny, when coaches are making after match interview in the TV and they are very angry, then they are using very hard words... Once, one player from the beaten team was after match awarded with trophy as the best player of the game and he sad through TV to all country something as "you can give your trophy in your * if you want...." So, when I am looking on the things from this side, I can say that scottish people have passion in football and we in icehockey, so maybe this is the argument, why there is also so big rivality between Celtic and Rangers, and in our country it's betwwen the icehockey teams...

 

Hope yous make the Uefa for the simple fact I hope Rangers come last but I doubt it. It's a joke a Pub Team like Fartmedia are in instead of Celtic I think it's time UEFA started hosting these qualifying games when all teams are into their competitive games, Celtic had played only a few friendlies and Fartmedia were well into their season it's unfair and a * disgrace.

 

It's a dimilar situation in Poland. Celtic and Huns are in CL almost every year so you can afford to hate one of the teams and cheer their rivals because your team is also on the top. If club from Poland or Slovakia gets into CL it's a miracle so everyone is a fan of that club if it plays in CL

I don't think it was unfair, in Scottland started the league later as here in Slovakia, but this is not a problem of Artmedia. Before the match with Celtic, was Artmedia playing maybe four league matches. This was not the reason why Artmedia won with Celtic. Celtic was playing maybe the worst game in the last years and Artmedia the best game in the history... And when this two factors meet in one game, then is everything possible. The football is sometimes cruel and the better team not win every time. Before the matches with Celtic was Artmedia playing the first qualifing round against kazakhstan team Kairat Alma-Alta. Artmedia was beaten 2:0 away and at home won 2:0, so it must be a overtime. In overtime it was 3:1 for Artmedia only few second before end, so in this moment was Kairat winning on away goals. Every Artmedia player including goalkeeper was running forward and they made it to 4:1 in the overtime of overtime... In the last second... And Celtic must not playing with Kairat, but with Artmedia. At this time nobody was hoping, what will be happend in the home game against Celtic.

 

Upsets (shock victories) are all part of football.

It makes it the game we all love.
