Watching back all the post-match footage with the players and their interviews, I just love how international this squad is. All over the world coming to join the family. Love Ange and this group of players as much as any in the past.

We all knew they would play the long ball, they always do v us. But they were even * at that on Sunday. They were clipping it into the centre circle constantly all infront of our backline lol.

That is all they try to do. Bypass midfield as they know we're superior and look to feed off scraps up top. Diving for freekicks or hoping for second balls..

Yep was just meat and drink for guys like Starfelt and CCV. If you’re gonna bypass midfield at least put it right over the top and 1/20 times you will get a lucky break, like they did last month and managed a goal from it. Tactical genius that Beale.

Or you could come up with a system that doesn’t involve luck…and creates numerous chances

I’ve watched it back, they got on top for 12 minutes tops. Not a coincidence that 12 minutes was the time between their goal and Iwata coming on.

He made a massive difference to win back control, slight formation change and change of personnel from Ange was exceptional management.
