I'm pretty sure our improved bid (3M) was accepted anyway. It's the player's agent who's stated he'll make a decision this weekend.

I'm not sure where our club stand. Are they fine with waiting because Giakoumakis' fate is uncertain, or are they as annoyed as must people here? I assume the player is waiting on signing for us until GG leaves, because he wants to be sure he'll be the target man. The Minnesota link just doesn't make sense, given his earlier statements.

But one thing is clear: with Tengstedt having chosen Benfica, we have less room to threaten a pull-out. I am fine with Jo signing, GG deciding to stay, or Almasi signing.

I doubt very much he would go to Minnesota but this is wide open for a bigger club to pounce in last minute.

Mate, I know you're ticked off. But there's no indication Huns have made a bid. They can't find the money. And even if they could, they:
a) have 3 strikers at the club that needs a better defense more than anything
b) don't have guaranteed CL to offer next season
c) have never had an East Asian player in their ranks because their support is provenly bigoted against those people.

Our greatest threat of not landing this guy comes from Mainz. I'll reveal one fact that will probably make people cool off Jo even more, but most Korean fans on certain videos I've seen are suggesting Jo should go to Mainz. Bundesliga and a compatriot waiting are the main reasons. They also don't like the fact we have 6 Japanese players. Some are suggesting he should go to us, though. Nobody is mentioning Rangers, and very few mention Minnesota.

Honestly some * are wild. * forbid the guy takes some time to explore all options open to him. No like hes moving halfway across the world to make a possible career defining decision or anything.
