    Trying to get through some films I've read good things about over the years but never got round to, while I have some time off and the weather's biblical; just finished Lost in Translation. Thought it was alright, wasn't absolutely blown away. Soundtrack and setting was quality though. Giving Capote a go now.

    Almost Famous is excellent, great soundtrack too.

    Godfather 1 and 2 are two of my all time favourites.

    Went to see 'She Said' last night. It's about the reporters who broke the story about Harvey Weinstein's sexual harrassment/rape of multiple women. A powerful story.

    Great film. Every Martin McDonagh directed film has been brilliant.

    One of the funniest films I’ve seen in a long time, even though it’s not a comedy. Gleeson and Farrell are great actors. Love their chemistry.

    Watched the new Knives Out movie, thought it was pretty good overall, I liked Daniel Craig’s character in this one more than the last, he seemed to be more jokey and have better lines
