Madness that he's still getting criticism tonight.

 

Great goal. Just seen the highlight. Delighted for him.

 

That was a world class finish ,I wanna see a lot more of it

 

Ripped their right back apart constantly, just ashame he can’t score tap ins or he’d be unstoppable.

 

It hasn't always been the case, but tonight he genuinely looked like World Cup level against, well, Hibs level. His best all-around performance in a Celtic shirt IMO. Even his one-touch passing and link up play was sharp.

 

Looked to be limping when all players came on at final whistle. Hope he is OK, either way, starting or coming on against the huns, he will have a big part to play on 2nd.

played well and has 5 for the season now.

 

It's always been baffling to me the criticism he takes, yes he's not the most technically gifted player, but if you can watch our games and not see what his speed and relentless pressing contributes to the team over 90 minutes, going forward and defensively, I don't know what to tell you. Except you're a bit of a *.

His engine and workrate is a level above most of our players, Maeda is the Broony of wingers.

 

so so effective, might miss a few, but its a few no-one else would be in the position for them.

 

I felt as if he looked really fleet footed tonight, as if he was gliding at times.
He isnt always the most composed and can be erratic, but what that can always be said for him, is that he is a pure athlete and his conditioning is always spot on. I can only remember seeing stamina like his in Didier Agathe.

His attitude is outstanding as well, he just keeps going. A real enigma of a player, and a rare one also.

 

Looked on another level tonight, dribbling past players in a way I've never really seen from him. An unreal performance.

Excellent game from him but the missed header chances are the norm unfortunately. Get away with it against Hibs and the like but in tight games with few chances it’s a sickener when he fluffs his lines. I’d have Jota back in for Monday.

 

Jota is our best player. Meada done great but let's not get carried away. Jota is on a whole different level.

 

I have to again say I don't know what his stronger foot is. He's using both, adapting to each situation.

 

I would say that Jota has the potential to be our (by quite far) best player, but he is not performing near the levels of Maeda as of late. For quite some time actually.

 

Imagine him up against Tavernier.
