Battered. A privilege we'll get to watch the greatest player in history play in one last world cup final.

Sunday is going to be special. The last chance to watch the greatest player ever and his own last chance to win the World Cup, we’re privileged to watch this guy.

    He's just on another planet.

Messi, Maradona, Larsson, Ronaldinho, C. Ronaldo. In that order.

Argentina have to win. How good would it be to see Messi lift that trophy.

Could you imagine Maradona playing in todays game with the protection players get?

He would be on another level from everyone else we laud today.

Same, them V France would be some final but im desperate for Messi to win it and France are probably too good and could pump them. Hope Morocco beat them.

Croatia have been brilliant, a joy tae watch.

Thought it was a slow start from Argentina, cagey opening half hour, then they stepped it up a gear, the wee man did his thing and the whole team were buzzing.

    Much like Messi.

Without the ridiculous number of goals.

I don’t think there’s any kind of argument to be given now between Messi and Ronaldo. Messi won that game for Argentina tonight, he truly is the greatest.

For folk that understand football it’s not been a debate for a while but him lifting the Trophy would kill dead the laboured pish retorts you get from many.

At 35 and ‘washed’ no less.
