Celtic has been linked with a few names recently. Here are a few and my 'chances of signing rating'.

    Rivaldo
He's said he is "flattered by Celtic's interest and chance to replace Larsson" and is looking at all his options. Bolton also interested but chance for him to play in Champions League is good bait for Hoops!
    Chances of signing: 8/10

    Y. Basturk
Okay that spelling might be wrong! Turkish striker playing in Germany. Werder Bremen have given up hope of signing him and O'Neill is said to have an interest. But I've heard nothing from either the player, his agents or O'Neill so still a rumour.
    Chances of signing: 4/10

    Robbie Earnshaw
This guy has the ability to play for the Bhoys in place of Larsson. He would love playing off Hartson and Sutton. O'Neill must have looked at the option of getting him and since he plays in the Nationwide First Division for a club who won't be competing at the top for a while, he must have ambition to play at a bigger level - the Champions League being just that.
    Chances of signing: 6/10

    Muzzy Izzet
Almost certain to move on the end of the season and, as a previous player under Martin O'Neill and the Irishman's failing to sign him last year due to the transfer fee involved, he should get him a little cheaper with Leicester going down. Izzet would go to Scotland again with Europe football in mind and chance to work alongside O'Neill again.
    Chances of signing: 8/10

    Nacho Novo
A target of rivals Rangers. The Dundee striker has proven he is a quality finisher and would love to play for either half of the Old Firm. With Larsson going, O'Neill must be looking at Nacho as a replacement striker. He has skill and that finishing touch. Would he do it at the top level though? The chance needs to be taken to find out but I wonder if O'Neill wants to take the risk, especially after he has said he is "looking at the top and working his way down". Right now, Novo is not at the top.
    Chances of signing: 7/10

That's just a few of the people I've heard. Post your own opinions on these players and their chances of comijng to Paradise and some of your own, if you know of any targets. Cheers! :icon_mrgr

I think Rivaldo will almost definately sign for us. Would love Earnshaw to come to us as well, but your right, it is less of a chance he will come. Nice round-up there. Kepp adding if you can to this list!

i would love to see rivaldo in the hoops!!! a few years ago we would only joke about signing him :icon_mrgr , doesnt look good as far as signing solskjaer goes, hes telling sky that he doesnt want to play for celtic. i have been watching earnshaw for a while now just waiting for o'neill to show some sort of intrest in him, hes a fantastic player, fast and scores goals. im not sure about izzet, have never wanted him in the side but o'neill will decide that :icon_mrgr

Not sure whether Rivaldo would join us, if he did would it be good for the dressing room? I mean these South Americans have somewhat of a reputation for disrupting the squad with their bigger than life attitudes, I may be wrong but only time will tell. Also, why has nobody mentioned Amoruso? Quality player and hes now training with the hoops! Dortmund payed £18 mil for him only 3 seasons ago and now he's with us. Although my South American theory will once again crop up here.

A rumour which I heard was Landon Donovan, teh young American. I would love for this to happen, he has all teh attributes needed to be a top class forward.

His predictions weren't overly great :smiley-laughing002:.

    Pirlo - 9.5/10

Balotelli - 6/10 (stumbling a bit on wages)
