Kyogo Furuhashi

Yeah weird one for sure, as you say Kyogo has enough quality that even off form or as a sub he could win a game for you. Don't see that with Maeda.

 

Their manager is a *. Absolutely clueless for leaving Kyogo out.

 

A defensively oriented manager, with obvious favorites (Asano and Shibasaki). But Furuhashi does contribute defensively with his press, while Hatate is good at intereceptions.

 

They must have some squad if they can afford to leave those 2 players out.

 

Shame for them to miss world cup but from a celtic point of view keeps them fresh for us and run in

 

Gutted for him and Hatate.

 

That's * brutal man! At least an opportunity to come off the bench for Kyogo.

Hatate should be starting though.

* for Kyogo and Reo but I'm glad that two of our most important players are getting a well earned rest.

 

Have to think if he'd banged in some of those very good chances im the UCL he'd be going but who knows with that gaffer.

 

Being here gives them the opportunity to show what they can do at the highest level in Europe. Tomorrow night is a massive platform for them.

 

I think there manager is pretty hopeless and seldom calls up younger players unless they can’t be ignored at all.

They have a lot of good midfield options but Hatate is a lot better than Shibasaki but he gets the call out of seniority.

Kyogo missing out just seems a nonsense but the manager never really seems to rate Kyogo. He seldom picks him from the start.

It will be a blow to Kyogo but hopefully he responds with another few goals before the World Cup, gets a good rest during it and is ready to crack on for the second half of the season.

 

How the * has Kyogo and Hatate not made the WC squad, but Maeda has!!

Mental from their gaffer. Congratulations to Maeda, but * me that's baffling, good for us I suppose though.

 

Out of the list if strikers called up, its absolutely mental how Kyogo hasn't made the cut.

 

Heartbroken for him, still a chance he goes though. Has to be one of the first on the reserve list. Was looking forward to supporting them and seeing him tear it up.

 

Its great news for us. They must be blessed with great strikers.

 

Just read that there he will be on a reserve list if anything. If i was the manager and i could only take one i would take hatate.serious baller imo

 

Glad it helps us in the league run-in which is our bread and butter. I just hope this knock back doesn't affect their confidence though

Sounds like the manager doesn’t have a clue to be honest. Hope they get pumped now but Maeda plays well.
