He covers ground like a man possessed but his finishing will never be up to standard

His overhead kick was at least going in but for the deflection. He's in good company tonight of players missing glorious chances.

The most frustrating player of all time ffs. His closing down could be vital to us getting through this group, but cannot be trusted to do basic things with the ball. Infuriating.

Missing too many sitters for me, sitters than mean the difference between winning, drawing or losing.
Abada and Haska should be starting before him now.

Got to admire his attitude and effort but his finishing is poor.In the domestic league its not an issue as someone else will score but in the CL its going to cost us.

Perhaps if he gets a goal he can kick on but as far CL football goes if he cant get on the scoreboard soon id drop him.

We've got plenty of cover there already, but I'd love to see him play at fullback, honestly think he'd excel there, wouldn't need to worry about his shooting either.

I still love the guy, and I think he's going to be here for a long time, compared to some of the others.

He changed the game when he came on. Totally nullified Mudryk with his closing down of the space, and without him as an out ball they had nothing.

In games where there might be only a few chances we need better, its a pity because he works like * for the team.

Finishing is awful. It's a shame because if he improves that he is awesome for us.cmon maeda.HH

He made a massive difference when he came on due to his speed to help Juranovic with their winger and nullified their attacks.

Aye his finishing needs to be improved but I honestly feel like having him help out with his work rate helps us over all with balance in the side.

I think it’s clear to see he was out on to help Jura out and to stop/ close down their LW. However, had it been Abada on, he would have scored his chances

As much as I think his technical ability is horrendous, and is 4th in the queue of our wingers, he was ideal for helping out nullifying that Mudryk. Definitely should have started.

I got up and walked out the room when he missed that chance, * livid. He'll score and assist domestically but he ain't good enough at CL level although still very useful up against good players. * enigma the *!

Soon as he came on Jota was back to his best position and he had space opening up for him...went on that stunning run but just took one to many touches to get shot away.

Maeda has his uses and I'm sure he's scoring and assisting soon

Got to remember he's actually young. He's 4 years younger than kyogo. It'll come.

Went off my nut at that till I seen the replay, thought he'd done his usual and scuffed it but he actually took it really well.

Think Maeda will start next time because of that, everything for them was coming through Mudryk, looks a really good player.
