Riordan and Gravesen

If these two players are still wearing the hoops come September, do you think GS will include them in the match squad?
Personally i'd like to see Riordan get a look-in but i can't see that happening with Crosas, McCourt and Mizuno battling for a first team place.

I'd like to see Riordan and Strachan bury the hatchet over their feud but i cannae see that happening and him playing. I dinny hink Gravesen will get his game.

 

What is wrong with graveson, he is the headless chicken so many times mentioned in football circles, yet he did well v the huns, anyway, even last week he was at it again, running about but never getting anywhere, it is a strange sight to see, but can u imagine if he did * good, as for riordan, it aint going to happen, he is talented but we need more than occassional brilliance, pity

 

i would love to see riordon in the squad again maybe wgs has plans for him by rejecting the loan bid

Graveson will be gone sooner or later. Never really fitted in.

 

Like Gordon Strachan I just don't see were they fit in now.

 

Seems to have went all quiet now with gravesen, so looks like we could be stuck with him a while longer hopefully not.

 

Strachans already told Gravesen, and confirmed it publically, that he'll never play for Celtic again.

Riordan is a mystery. Whether its his attitude or something that nobody knows about, I dont see him getting a game again. I reckon WGS rejected the loan deal cause he wants him gone permanently. In a pinch, he might find himself on the bench, but thats it, I reckon his Celtic career is over. Shame really, talented player.

 

I think we're gonna have to accept that graveson will be with us until the end of the season when his deal runs out.

I'd like to see riorden get a run of games up front but it aint gonna happen & i don't think 10mins at the end of a game is gonna be enough for him to force himself into the starting 11.

even if he scored 15 goals in 3 games in the reserves he wouldn't get a start.

 

I dont particularly want to see Gravesen in the hoops again, id rather pay him all he is due, including his £1m loyalty bonus and get him to * now than have him hanging around like a bad smell all season to be honest

Still think that taking him to a deserted woodland area and giving him a double tap to the forehead seems like a more prudent plan, however.

 

100% spot on couldnt agree more the guy is like a bull in a china shop,the powers that be should just pay him off and get him out of glasgow,although when i think about,Watty and Sally like to sign * dont they

 

I really hope GS is fair and at least includes Riordan on the bench as he is way too good for the reserves and its a shame to waste the obvious talent he has.

 

If riordan was given a run of games or even first sub, he would score about 20 goals a season no prop. That would save Celtic about £3m in a transfer fee because they need another attacking player. Sell Graveson if anybody would take him, free up a few pounds in wages

 

Doubt that.

I wouldnt have him ahead of Jan, Skippy, Sammy or even young Hucthinson.

 

If only some of the other players at the club had the same desire to play as Riordan.

 

I really hope that by the 1st of September that neither are still on the celtic books and that goes for Balde too.
