Well bretheren. I haven't been on board for about a year now, but being a Tim living in Sydney, I did say to all who hadn't even heard of AP, I forecast how Ange would go at Celtic. I sang his praises to the uninitiated and that's came to pass. But 1 thing I've got to admit is I had no idea that he would by far surpass my good expectations. A genius!!!
Bring on Madrid coz you just never know?

Those huns I know have been saying how they are jealous of this team and want an Ange manager.

I almost feel sorry for them.

    Almost.

Simply wouldn't get the time. His first few matches in charge are enough to get the sack over there. He knows it and is staying with us. Forever. Hands off.

He was born to manage Celtic. Genuinely the perfect fit for the job.

One more win by a three goal margin and he gets to keep wee Gio on his mantelpiece.

He grew up a Liverpool fan (and an AEK Athens fan). Was watching an interview he gave for a greek website about 1-2 months ago. He likes the fact that Celtic fans are singing YNWA cause he loves the song from supporting Liverpool (or something along these lines).

I've long been an Ange watcher and long sang his praises (as some may have noted from time to time), but I seriously think he's gone to a new level at Celtic.

He's done very well at previous clubs but coming to Celtic was the perfect convergence of a number of factors.

First, Celtic is a Euro club of massive tradition.

Second, Scotland has a passionate football culture that few (if any) countries can match - maybe Argentina...

Third, Celtic has the resources to enable a manager with excellent judgment and vision to create something (a team) way beyond the sum of its parts.

Ange has the judgment and vision, but also the ambition to do something amazing in football. He just needed the right club and Celtic was tailor made to match his qualities. I knew he'd be a success but what has blown me away is the speed and character with which he's done it.

Ange has been trusted and allowed to reshape the entire club from top to bottom in the way he sees fit to enable the club to improve in every conceivable area. TBF, I know little about the board and its politics but they don't seem to have interfered much (if at all) in Ange's mission, and the result is a club that is humming along on all cylinders and getting results that are likely to break all sorts of records.

But the building of the club has coincided with the building of the manager. His stocks in the world game must be sky high as anyone looking in with half a brain must be able to see his quality.

It is inevitable that there will be suitors, and probably already have been, but Ange won't be leaving while his Celtic project is incomplete. He may not win the Champion's League, given the resources others have, but I reckon he'll make a serious dent in it before he's finished.

And part of the reason for that is that Ange, due to his opportunity at Celtic, is now a substantially better manager than he was when he came. He will be aware of that, and very grateful to Celtic and the fans for their trust.

I'd still like the * to sign a five year deal though - obliging a massive payday for the club if he's poached.

Was speaking to some guys yesterday about Tuesday and we were all wondering why we were weirdly quite confident. Can only think it's the Ange factor, he makes us believe that we can beat anyone. And that's just us fans, imagine how it must feel for those working with him every day!

That was a penalty as well, should have been at least 5.

I've said it before but the most impressive thing for me about Ange isn't winning the league last season, or the football we are playing now, or the spirit of the team. I still can't believe he managed to convinve the board to back him to the extent they have. That is borderline miracle worker stuff right there. If he can do that beating Real should be a piece of *.

Mind aw the Huns saying after we lost to Livingston last season 1-0 in September, he would be sacked by halloween and they would aw be wearing kangaroo suits to celebrate, not lost domestically since then, must be coming up to a calendar year undefeated next week or 2, that’s 3 away games this season were we have struggled in the past 9 out 9 ,17 goals scored 1 conceded, Huns 3 away games this season, scraped past Livingston, drew with hibs and absolutely pumped by us 4 from 9,4 goals scored 7 conceded
