The running he does is unreal. The challenge on him when he was off like a bullet hasn't been discussed enough. Terrible challenge man

So many players to love in this squad, he's up there. His work rate is phenomenal. He balloons a ball here and there but he makes up for it one way or another.

The depth of the squad is really good now.

What a sub to bring on when they were wilting.
The sight of him knocking it past them at that stage of the game. Lovely.
He has given them problems with his energy and movement when he has played them.
Goldson lucky to stay on in my opinion, dirty. Tactical but on verge of being dangerous.

    Nailed on he starts tomorrow..

Pressing the life outta them, helping out Taylor and he'll be major on the counter..

Him and a hopefully fit Kyogo will cause them bother with Jota on the right..

Normally I'd say he's a stick on but with Abada in the form of his life I'm not sure. Jota been absolutely tearing it up from LW as well.

No way he starts, not with the form of Jota and Abada.

It's a tough one and a great "problem" to have.

Maeda can press and run for days, will create space and chances all day long. But you can't very well drop Jota or Abada with the form they are in.

Jota and Abada at home in Europe, Maeda and Jota away where we are likely to see less of the ball. But for the first time in a long time I'm not THAT fussed about which of our wingers start, they are all more than capable and are a different enough to cause the opposition different problems.

I don't think his pressing and running makes up for the drop in technical ability and goal threat you have dropping Abada and shifting Jota across. Maeda for all his positives is too short on ability for me to be put in against a team like Madrid.

The only 'decision' to make for me is Kyogo or GG. I'd lean towards Kyogo for this game but as ever I'm not disappointed either way. The rest of the team picks itself due to Starfelt's injury.

Has to be Abada for me.

5 goals in 2 games. You don’t drop that kind of form irrespective of anything else.

As much as Maeda adds, if the ball is falling to one of them in the box, you want it to be Abada, maybe moreso than anyone in the squad on current form.

Would be really harsh to drop Abada after his two previous performances.

I do agree that Maeda would probably be better suited for this, but I suspect Ange will go with Abada.

Would’ve rather that ball fell to Gavin Strachan

Harsh mate, ball was cannonballed at him, that wasn't exactly easy to convert

It's not as if he was squandering chance after chance, and tbh Abada was fluffing his lines as well. It was a good sub, he was hardly the weak link in the side.
