    Aye sounds awful that.

on a serious note i think players like this are always appreciated. Especially as we have quite a young squad, excellent to have someone in the side with experience that can take control and calm things down when need be. He does bring more to the side than just that however.

He hasn't even delved into his disguised reverse pass bag of tricks yet.

Thought wee Alvin put in a very good show last night, his long range passing is superb and though it isn't necessarily suited to how we want to play 100% of the time, could come in handy when trying to knick a goal when we are behind.

I've had enough beers now to say what I really think...

Numerous people laughed at the Aussies when they (we) said that Mooy was better than Rogic. Obviously, at what Rogic does best, not many come even close. Thing is, Rogic was very inconsistent - for Celtic and for the Oz NT.

Not Mooy. He is Mr Consistency - never has a bad game - always dominates. For Aussies watching the NT we knew we could rely on Mooy like Scotland relies on Callum McGregor - maybe even more so. He never loses the ball and has a phenomenal passing success rate.

Australia has had no players in the truly elite class - Harry Kewell and Mark Schwarzer (IMO) come closest - but we've had a handful in what you might call the World Class level - a step below.

The day Mooy was MOTM against France he was world class. When he single handedly dragged Huddersfield into the EPL, and then kept them up, he was world class.

Even I'm hesitant to say he's still world class (not drunk enough) but if he's not - he's * close.

Massive addition to the squad for this year, and no doubt next, and I'm overjoyed he can still cut it at a decent level.

just wait until Angus Mooy gets fit.... he is probs my fav aussie player of the last 10 years or so. he looks like he is carrying a horse on his shoulders but seems to have all the time in the world with the ball at his feet.

Of the new bhoys, I feel Aaron Bernabei has a lot of improvements to make. Alexandro Mooy, on the other hand, looks like the finished article:92:

There has been no evidence that he is "better than Rogic" or even close to him. He's had a good game and is shaping up to be a decent stand in midfielder for cup games, injuries or to bring on in the second half. But if someone tries to tell me he is better than Tam I'm still laughing sorry.
