Can they not give money without having to go on tv tho? I think alot of them do it to benefit themselves through positive publicity...Kavita from last weeks show was possibly one of them even tho shes a *, and she hardly gave * all compared to nick last night.

I'm man enough to admit i had a lump in my throat when he gave the money to the wee old women at the end that had 2 hip replacements, a shoulder replacement and a couple strokes.

I'm almost certain i've seen that Nick guy on wife swap before and the bird that moved in with him was extremely harsh on his kids which he didn't like at all forcing them to eat all their breakfast or they wouldn't get anything to eat the rest of the day.

The blind guy was a raging alcoholic, he had a pint every time you seen him i thought that was a poor advert tbh.

oh stfu the programme was utter *. exploiting the poor and needy for entertainment purposes.
people give and donate just as much money every day but they dont televise it and show how generous they are. although i did get a good laugh out it.
first we had jean paul the mongo ned, then wee maggie the bearded lady, the fat woman with the glass eye. a bunch of spastics riding horses then last but not least chris, the blind drunk hun *

    quality tv

Comments totally bang out of order ....

how can you use comments like that against people who have been robbed of one of the most precious senses later in life and to innocent hadicapped kids enjoying some fun time

I always remember a phrase "What goes around comes around" .. Hope it dont come back to haunt you one day

That's a cracking program, loved the Glasgow one, I took some pics yesterday where they filmed some of it at Red Road / Petershill.

Most off-licenses in Glasgow have either a glass screen or wire mesh and hatch. Or are you from Newton Mearns or something?

aye thatll be the one lol thats been knocked down well it was knocked down years ago ..... one thing that made me question that programme is they showed alot of building that where derlict and ready to be knocked down and it was showing you them as if people where actually still staying in them :97: to be honest possil is a really modern looking place new houses football centres etc but its just the people that live their that run it down . On the programme they showed us it if it was some sort of ghetto and when it showed you him moving into that wee flat and the sick stains on the floor i found that a bit pathetic no one moves into a house like that.

All that programme did was exploit the bad points and not any positive points about the area.

Its like that time on the news when the russian sub the kursk had just sunk they media showed you a scrap yard in russia where it was all the old subs rusting away and they had the cheek to say " russias naval fleet once the greatest navy in the world reduced to this " ... when all they had to do was turn the camera a little more to the right and you would have seen 10 brand new oscar class submarines ready to leave the docks.

The media and these programmes as i said exploit the bad points and not any positive ones .... but pherhaps him giving money to those people was a positive point.

I wonder what the people sitting in london where thinking when they where watching this . they must have been thinking isnt glasgow a modern city thats striving in the united kingdom well thats not the image they give glasgow when they make programmes like this. :38:

A used to live up in Berneray Street in Milton and went to comp up in "TinTown" is that still there
