    Corinthians made a formal offer of 6 million euros for 70% of the economic rights of Fausto Vera.


    The "Bug" also has a similar proposal from Genk for the central midfielder.


    Both are analyzed by the Argentinos Juniors board.

    I doubt there’s anything in it, mainly due to the price, but he looks a very good player.

    Seems like we’re just being mentioned with every Argentinian player that’s being linked to Europe after the Bernabei deal though.

    He looks a good player but I don’t think we are actually in the running here for him.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if we were looking at someone else in that market like a Belmonte and this is being brought up through guess work by journalists.

    Either way we still need a good defensive midfielder in.

    Don’t see this happening, if the reports are true and they have had bids of €6 million knocked back with a 30% sell on fee I can’t see us spending more than that.

    I can’t see the board spending another 6 plus million on another single player this summer, I hope I’m wrong, really do cause we need a really good DM.

    He's not the kind of defensive mid we need IMO. From the footage of him.

    Would be strange for us to go from someone with the profile of Souza to him.

    Corinthians showed interest in the 22-year-old Argentine midfielder Fausto Vera, who plays for Argentinos Juniors, and made a proposal of 4 million euros (about R$ 22 million) in recent days. But whoever thinks there is a desperation for the player is wrong. Sources heard by the Gazeta Esportiva report guarantee that the club will not enter any auction in the negotiation.

    A response is awaited by the Corinthians board for the next few days, without a deadline for that. The guarantee is that the proposal made by the Argentine midfielder is this one and a bigger one will not even be discussed.




    Corinthians hopes that the power to convince Fausto Vera will be greater than more economically advantageous proposals. In Argentina, for example, it is said that the Argentinos Juniors board is asking for a greater amount, 6 million euros (R$ 32.6 million), for 70% of the economic rights. And that Genk, from Belgium, would be one of those interested.

    Revealed by Argentinos Juniors himself, Fausto Vera has 24 games, four goals and three assists this season. In Argentina's under-23 team, he participated in eight games and scored one goal. Before, he also passed through the U-20 team and the Olympic team in 2021.
