For market value if he was under contract - you'd have been looking at more than Celtic would be willing to spend.

For free though, he's certainly an option that we should put interest in...of course it means possibly that after years in Russia, he's probably wanting a salary to match that or better yet as a free agent is able to command a higher wage which again is perhaps something Celtic won't offer as he'd probably be our top earner by mile if he was to sign for us.

Doubt we will even bother reaching regardless as I do think his wage demand would likely be near £70k...but you know...as player he's been doing good and would absolutely add something to our RW if he was realistically affordable.

 

Was it not just last year it was being reported he was going to dortmund for 20odd million? Absolute no brainer to bring him in if its possible

 

That’s pretty much exactly what we should be looking for. Someone who can play across all 3 positions comfortably enough.

 

It will probably come down to his desire to be here. If he wants to be here, wages won’t be a problem, he’ll be aware he can’t demand same or similar wages and it’ll be about representing the same club as his dad.

 

How much of a pull will that be when he's already played in the same team as his Dad?

Being honest he wasn’t someone I had seen any off so went and watched some videos of him, in his early days at Helsingborg a lot of his finishing reminded me of Henrik in that there was a real variety of clever finishes of either foot and with his head, goals both in the box and around the edge of it.

However in the videos of his time at Spartak although he we was often listed as playing striker he seemed to come in from the right on to his favoured left foot fairly regularly or drop off and pick up pockets of space almost in the 10 type role.

He also looks like he takes a decent set piece both corners and free kicks.

His goals tally may be a bit uninspiring but he definitely looks like a player who had the attributes to thrive in our current team. He looks quick, has good feet, is left footed which none of our forwards are and carries a goal threat in and out of the box.

It would be interesting to see if Ange could get the best out of him. Wages may be an issue right enough.

Jordan Larson would be off his head to come to Celtic! He'll always be compared to his da and be slautered. We all know what Celtic supporters are like(not all) your the best thing ever if your playing good, play bad and you won't want to leave the house. Go online and read what they say, by * thst would send them into depression.

As much as the kid is decent, I wouldn't want him with us. Would hate to see our supporters on his back?

Italian media saying we want Malick Thiaw from Schalke along with Bologna and Milan.

Would be shocked if we get him, been linked with some top teams for a while.

 

Never even heard of this guy until two minutes ago, but will cry now if we don't get him.

 

Played 60 odd games for Schalke 04 at the age of 20. Looks like a top talent. Would definitely be interested but can’t see us spending that sort of money on another centre back, especially if the Souza deal is £7m odd. Would have to be loan to buy but don’t see why Schalke would be ok with that. Played nearly every game for them last year and they’ve lost Itakura.

Unless it’s same as last year… 2 major loan to buy options in Souza and Thiaw. £15m combined. We would literally be a forward player who can play across the front 3 away from completion in my opinion. Mmaee or Larsson please.
