    I'd say this is actually the PERFECT situation for a loan to buy transfer. Just nail down the details beforehand to allow a quick transfer if we take it. Absolutely no guarantee that he'd come from so far away, such a different culture, and settle. If we're gonna drop about £7-8M on a player we'd need to be sure we don't get stuck with someone we can't use/sell

    I don’t know why the City group can’t just be sound and buy players for us.

    To be fair mate he's coming from Belgium, very similar to Scotland in many ways. But I agree, a loan to buy is ideal in this situation.

    Looks a good player , i know ange had us looking at other areas for players but dont know if its because mark lawwell has came in that we are linked with the boy from lanus and souza but glad we are looking at these countries. Porto and benfica have made very good champions league teams over the years signing players from these leagues for relatively small fees and selling them on for really big profits aswell as getting good seasons out them. Really hope thats the model we try and adopt and from these countries. Not The era for bringing through youth in scotland as breaking into our first team isnt priority for youths now. Young talent are all off to england and germany now

    Tbf the way Ange went all out to bring Thomas Broich to Brisbane Roar it wouldn't surprise me if he asked Nicholson to go all out on this one if he thinks Souza will have a similar impact.

    Souza looks the goods. However many Brazilian players have layered terms in their contracts with hangers -on feeding off them.

    Hopefully we can get him for a reasonable fee. He will only get much better at Celtic under Ange. He will become a champion player.
