Always said he can be a guest for the flag next season. Although may be too busy in his own job for that by then. Top guy.

 

Fleetwood are a state of a team. If they'd been relegated and he was trying to promote them back I think it would be a better job. Keeping them up alone will be tough.

 

Guarantee you that Broony wont be able to resist registering himself as a player for next season. He says he's hung up the boots but I can just picture him marching up and down the dugout and dying to get on the park to sort * out where it needs sorted out.

The temptation will be too much for him. I can see him being player manager even although he denies it

 

I'd like to see him work with Robertson. Throw in Murray as well.

 

It's taken me a week to come to terms with this appointment ..... 12 years ago Fleetwood were involved in a promotion battle with my hometown club of Southport. Their behaviour and lack of ethics as they went through the courts to try and keep points gained against another club who had gone bust and not fulfilled all its fixtures was disgusting (the league had correctly decided that all Farsley's results should be expunged form the record books). The Chairman, Andy Pilley is probably a crook, at best his business dealings are dubious, as exposed by the BBC about a decade ago. They remain a horrible club, funded by money gained through unethical business practices ..... Joey Barton was the ideal manager for them, Broony doesn't deserve to be linked with them.

I hope he moves on to bigger and better things quickly, and has a great managerial career elsewhere.

No idea how he played this year, but he was excellent for St Johnstone last season, two cup winning goals.

Should be a good signing for them. Strong and powerful and decent in the air, perfect for L1.

 

Aye, should be a cracking signing at that level. Wonder if he'll be looking at more players from up here since he's not exactly got a wealth of knowledge and, guessing, not much in the way of scouting down there. Will play it safe with more players he knows first hand you would imagine.

 

Give him Robertson and Johnstone on loan for the season.

 

Media saying he wants Charles-Cooke from County.

Would be an unreal signing at that level. Be surprised if he’d be able to get him. Thought he’d be a stick on for a ‘big’ move to the Championship or Aberdeen, Hearts or Hibs.

 

That would be an awesome signing for them. Rooney was a very good signing for that level but Regan Charles Cook would be a top top signing for them. As I said previously, give them Johnstone and Robertson and that’s them on their way to a decent wee team.
